I just returned from my local supplement store (not GNC) and the owner stated that he he had heard that the FDA were planning on removing it from supps. Has anyone else heard this rumor?

1,3 Dimethyl Ban?

I think it's inevitable here. It's being sold online as a legal ******* alternative and people are taking crazy amounts, even snorting it, so its days are numbered in the UK at least. Our govt doesn't care much about gear being sold or used but once something catches on as a legal high it gets banned pretty quickly. I like it but it won't be any great loss to me if it goes although I disagree totally with banning it on the basis that some idiots abuse it.

Companies are starting to abuse 1,3 by including it in larger and larger doses. If they would keep the doses around 25mg or less it wouldn't be getting so much attention.
I agree it shouldn't be banned... but compared to other things which get banned or restricted this one makes a bit of sense imo.Latest Reviews:

It's funny how ingredients that are "bad" get banned in supplements, yet we have tons of infredients in everyday foods that we eat that are terrible for us and they don't do anything about that.

Its great in small doses. But when you got companies just pouring a ton of it in their pre workouts so the newbs "can feel it working", you are gonna have problems and and the FDA is going to take notice.

i dont think he was saying he didnt like it just too many companies going crazy with it.
the irony is that 1,3 dimeth seems to not work at higher dose's i like it low dosed if i go any higher i dont get more energy i just crash and feel like sh!t. there's a fine line with 1,3 between feeling great then taking slightly more then felling like sh!t.

I mostly would just feel bad for companies like Gaspari, AEN and similar companies which are using 1,3 very responsibly.
Companies like Purus and BPI on the other hand...Latest Reviews:
