If you took 1g of 1:500, you'd only need .5gran of LJ100.

It takes time to work... couple of weeks and def good..

Off course varies on age, current test levels.. etc

I think you've got this the wrong way round. TA is even more beneficial for older lifters as testosterone becomes bound by SHBG. Anything which can free-up this bound testosterone will have a profound effect. I'm 37 and 3 months into PCT my free testosterone was right at the top end of reference range for males of any age. This was from using 6g ed 1:50 Indonesian extract.

The other side of the coin is that TA may have very little benefit for young bucks with free testosterone levels already at top end of normal range. TA WILL NOT take testosterone levels to supraphysiological levels as steroids would.....there is an upper natural limit.

Based on this reference which was mentioned in an earlier post, it sounds as if any TA product in the US is not worth the box it comes in. Plus you would have to pop so many caps that it exceeds the amount recommended. The research here says he took 1 gram of a 1:50 extract. That would equate to about 20 of the LJ100 caps if I did the math right!! I don't know how the 1:50 relates to the 1:100 so I could be off.

I didn't buy it for that reason. At that price I don't trust it's potency.

Just got mine 2day . 60 caps of 1:100 tonkat ali . I put the cap in a bottle of water and drank it after it disolved ! f*** this **** taste like crap ! makes my tongue numb like coca.. i feel a lil diff not much but a lil more focused.

So I purchased 10 grams of LJ 100 from 'The Planet' - not sure what I was expecting but...well...for thirty buh' I guess I was expecting more...bulk? This amounts to a couple of teaspoons of powder. Feels...pricey...not sure.

From what I've read, dosing is like 1/4 teaspoon (1 gram?) one time per day? possibly cycled 5 on / 2 off? based on that I've got only 10 servings (2 weeks) at $3 per serving.

My initial reaction is that I was ripped-off (or perhaps better put that I didn't do my homework).

Thoughts?

For the LJ100, it is a highly concentrated extract... I could be off; but when I used it a while back (and it so happens I will be getting more again soon) I ingested 200-500mg/day (divided amongst 2 doses/day, first thing in the morning and pre-workout or early evening). From what I have read 200mg is considered a decent dose for LJ100. Of course many factors could cause this to vary amongst individuals. The little container lasted me over a month...though the container should be sealed in something in addition to itself like a ziploc bag- because it is freeze-dried (which is a good thing for its potency) the powder tends to cake up as it sits and is exposed to air over time. I noticed taking higher doses could be a lil much...wired/insomnia, aggression/agitation, excessive body-heat/dehydration, etc. I experienced good results in terms of body composition, workout intensity, and general stamina (also a libido enhancer- but could a lil too much in terms of increased desire if taken in higher doses). Mood/focus was enhanced most days too. Definitely cycle the 5 on/2 off, this will increase the effectiveness and the cost-effectiveness conveniently.
