- never used real money to buy champion crew
(except skins)
- it's not boring lol but i know what you mean
it's most effective
try focusing on doing different things (but that might not be good for soloq in your case)
especially when you see into plat you'll see people do different thingg but i prefer 5v5s
(going on rant) 5v5s should be more used than solo q's because its team game
but anyhow
1) FARM FARM FARM, you need to learn to get almost perfect cs
go on bot game and see how fast you can get 100cs (if not perfect)
2) learn to trade, again it takes practice so you will have games you lose but dont be bummed out you will learn from it.
ex. when enemy goes for cs I stand near by (depending on our range) and when they hit with their basics i hit back and usually get 2 in when they get 1 or 0 back
3) similar to ahead make sure you get a trade (learn to trade)
4) mechanics! learn your champion well its best if you know few champions than play 20 of them( a lot of people do this )
5) TIMESTAMP!!!!
there's more you can pm me or ask specifically on thread
but tl;dr perfectism will easily win you
also don't rage
it happens to me too but try not too

serious question now
Do you use smart cast for every skill? or does it depend on the champion and the skill?
Also what's your opinion on smart casting? do you have automatically selected so you just have to press the key or do you keep on shift + key?My AVI is my chest. Not a rock, not a wall, not an atlas stone... My chest

i'm on mac so shift keys are easier
because sometimes i **** up, we all do
and its extar mana wasted
and one **** up on teamfight will cost you an arm and a leg
but like i mentioned earlier it's on limiting your mistakes
(and yes I do it on specific champions)
but generally yeah I have it set up on all (most)

when you play jungler there's this whole
high risk high reward thing
one big thing is how i said (perfectionism)
one mistake is costly
but one of the many high risk high reward is counter jungling
if you steal their red/blue
they will be put behind by exp, gold,& buff
1 of my fav counter jungling is
another is the warding their buff (my favorite on normal games)
you ward it and let enemy jungler fight the buff and you smite it (steal it) and kill them
or you can kill them and get it while saving your smite
but also
gank ONLY to secure kill (in my opinion others woudl disagree)
soemtimes if i can't get a kill, i would show my face to other lanes to put a presence to scare the enemy so my team will have more time to farm safley or scare their jungler to stop farming and come mid/top/bot etc..
also
try to get into using utility jungling
SO OP!

Carry me from silver brah
Lately I've been carrying, but I love top lane.
The cs'ing, being camped by opposing jungles, the dueling, everything.
So far I'm good with lee sin, and Irelia I love being Tanky.
Any tips for top lane? Been playing for 5 months, so far my cs has been
90-100 16-18 minutes in, I'm working on 70 at 10 minutes.
Trading is okay I guess, I know each champs mechanisms and what to bate out ect.Last edited by aestheticmiscer; 07-22-2013 at 01:17 AM.

everything sounds good,
for mechanics there's also understanding the enemie's mechanics.
i.e. say youre facing riven.
she uses all her skills
you'll know she's on cool down and has nothing but basic attack to fight back, that's when you use your skills
also wait till your jungler comes if it's a tie lane
for top lanes
you either win or tie your lane (your goals)
What ever side I ward, I ALWAYS "hug" that side, usually i put it on my tower side of the river (I use 1 ward at a time) and say if i'm purple side i'll ward closer to bot side and hug that side so i can be closer to my tower incase of ganks.
but also me personally I like to put it not in the bush but behind the bush
this way it allows me more safe time to back out
since i'm hugging 1 side its easier if jungler comes from undwarded side and i run away from there

Do you right click to last hit, or A click or any of the other methods, might not be as important for you but I ADC and on the rare occasion I miss click and phuck up my kiting.
I haven't played much ranked but I generally find I get 4 man ganked bot a lot and end up getting screwed over because of it. I don't CS that well, as I normally go for kills or to stop their ADC from csing (normally win lane, but then even a slightly fed mid or top will wreck me). Also i find i stop cs'ing as much later on and instead focus on team fighting once I've got my 3 main items (e.g. IE, phantom dancer, last whisper). This is also something I probably need to work on. I find I do this on all roles though, so i think it's a bad habit i've picked up.

hate to do this but read some of the other posts they will answer your questions
but some other tips not mentioned that can help you
- right click
- do the bot game and get or try perfect cs or how fast till 100cs
- job as adc is to never really 1v1 but to attack and meltdown anyone closest to you asap
- i think you will need to learn positioning that may help you
i.e. in team fights stay behind the team or even come in a little late or hide yourself,
have a good support or someone to peele for you if you're targeted a lot

yeah, i hug the side too was curious if there was a certain way of warding I didn't know about
another question: if I want to be in diamond 1 should I expect myself to have perfect cs ever? 95%? I'm not sure just how perfect is standard in high elo. I'm in platinum right now and wondering what might help me get into diamond.
