I don't really think it adds much to this community, I have taken it too lightly, cutting calories while winter was approachign was hard to do, and, even If I had been consistent with my WO, I have messed up my diet too many times. Final results have been a weight loss of 7 lb, and an slight increase on LBM, specially in my traps and legs, perhaps a loss in mass on arms, but I think it has only been due fat loss on that area, hence bye bye fatceps, I have also lost some fat arround my stomach.
I'm also seriously considering if I continue doing IF or not, as I'll put in my review, it has many good things, but some bad things that make me think that it's not for me. First, it's true that you are more away and productive during your fast (kinda), but during your feeding window, I felt mostly disabled, and unwilling to do anything because I felt very bloated and stuffed, which is very displeasing, specially since I tried to do a 2nd training session involving yoga, or martial arts many days, that are quite displeasing to practice feeling totally stuffed. Also, I'm allergic to eggs, and to whey concentrate and casein, which limits a lot my options to get my protein in (hydrolyzed is too expensive to use it very often), and over the years of training, I've grown quite a distate for meat and fish, and getting such large quantities into my body was hard, and many times, I had to use other food to "sugar coat" it, and be able to eat it, screwing my total cals and macros. Before IF, I used to get them in, into small quantities through the day, but now, I have to get it all in 3 meals tops.
I'm somewhat happy with the results, specially seeing that I have not been strict at all with my diet, and yet, I have seen a nice recomp, but I don't know if It's worth it for me.
I'll write the full review tomorrow.Last edited by StelioK; 01-02-2013 at 07:21 AM.
