Pre-Workouts & Fat Burners with DMAA Banned - Causes people to become retarded.

I seriously cannot believe what I am reading all over social media sites. The news is that almost all major selling pre-workout supplements are to be banned because they include the synthetic ingredient: DMAA (1,3-dimethylamylamine). Peoples reaction, "ohh no, how am I going to train without my Jack3d, Mesomorph, 1MR, Napalm etc etc.."

Are you guys seriously retarded? It's banned because it's dangerous for your body.. It has always promoted muscle breakdown which health professionals have been trying to yell at you for the last two years. Supplements are suppose to enhance your performance and health, not take away from it so that without them you have no energy???

You have been duped! What do you actually think that the local supplement store / online store wants you to be healthy? You actually think that they care about your physical or performance results? So do you really think that if they have more than one brand sold in their store that they will actually sell you something that they make less profit on? Come on guys (One big clap of the hands loudly) WAKE UP.

It's banned because the FDA gave the top 11 companies the chance to prove to them that the ingredient was safe and guess what; none of them could do it.. Even with the millions of sales around the world they couldn't find the evidence that it's safe because guess what? It's ****ing bad for you.

The "only" reason for DMAA's popularity is that of it's addictive properties. Brands knew that inclusion of this synthetic substance would not only provide feeling (over result) it would also make you coming back for more. Hence the reason why some of you are reading this and are getting ready to disagree. (Try telling someone on speed/methamphetamine that they should stop, well their answer will be to argue with no educated reasoning just like you people hooked on DMAA or the people that will comment that actually sold this crap.)

Look at the fact that the FDA imposed this ban.. I mean the FDA isn't really very strict when it comes to regulation.. It's not like they are the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia) So if the FDA was moved to impose the ban, it's pretty save to say, it's not really something enhancing your organs now is it.. (understatement)

Also anyone out there that is against the banning of DMAA.. Besides the way it makes you feel (crack heads) take a good hard look in the mirror and you ask yourself did the DMAA have any actual impact on your results? on your strength gains and on your body fat? The answer is no.. Don't tell me that DMAA had any impact on your results, because it's not scientifically plausible.

What you should do is remember who you bought this crap from. Think to yourself are they stupid enough not to know what they are selling people.. or do they really not care about anything other than MONEY. Did they see a label on your forehead that said "douche-bag" resulting in them selling you this stuff while also stating that it would enhance your results and enhance your health.

Anyways OP after your long rant, pretty sure FDA is banning 1,3 dimeth because it is not naturally occurring and is synthetically made. Therefore it is a drug and not a dietary supplement.

Wow completely wrong on the FDA. First they aren't even banning it because its unsafe. It's being banned because they say they need to file something due to the fact that there isn't sufficient evidence to say its in Geranium plants and therefore is synthetic. Also, what evidence do you have that it is unsafe or anyone else for that matter? You realize the FDA wanted to ban creatine a while back. The safety issue was raised because two soldiers had heart attacks with it in their blood (which is why the military banned it). It says don't use it before intense cardio sessions. Also, the report says that the DMAA has not been linked to the heart attack but merely that it was in their blood. Then people point at the kid in New Zealand that had a stroke because of it. He took it is a party drug in the form of two 278mg pills. That about 22 scoops of jacked as well as alcohol. If used safely and by following directions DMAA is perfectly safe. Go do some research on it and its not banned quite yet. They have till the 9th I believe to respond to the letter sent by the FDA. Also, as for it being synthetic there are many types of Geranium it was found in Chinese Geranium plants but not in North America and they are basically disregarding the Chinese study.
