I'd love to have a 45 degree leg press in my home gym but can't fit or afford one. Anybody got ideas for exercises that could effect the same muscles and be a good substitute? I have a power rack and am wondering what I could dowith that and a barbell instead. Thanks.

There isn't a direct sub for Leg Presses, since they remove the upper body from the equation.
There are many leg exercises you can perform with the equipment you listed. Some of them are:
*Barbell Lunges
*Front Squats
*Barbell Step-Ups
*Zercher Squats
*Jefferson Squats
*Barbell Hack Squats
*Bulgarian Split Squats
*Good ol' Barbell Back Squats
If you're unfamiliar with any of these, the BB.com database should help, as might http://exrx.netNo brain, no gain.

Yeah, it can be done. I use a box and squat to about 2-3 inches above parallel. Not ATG, but still something to be grateful. funny thing is that when younger i didn't like to train legs and now I can't wait to friday's leg day. I also do leg extensions, stiff deads, and leg curls. Legs are stronger than they've been in years.
If you've got two good legs then squat heavy. Appreciate those leg training days while you can!
