Grilled honey mustard snack wraps from McD are 260 calories, filling, and taste great.
Nutritional content aside, calories are what matters, and fast food tends to be high in calories. But not all choices are bad, you just have to use discretion and even moreso have the willpower not to order/eat too much food.
That is pretty messed up. I have to rethink a few things.

I will remember that next time I am deficient on my macro's & need to fill in my fats for the evening.
Jokes aside, a fast food meal here and there will not make or break you. If you are deficient on macro's because of a busy day at work (believe me it happens to us all from time to time), you bet your ass I will eat a fast food meal. If you have a 1000 calorie or more deficit at the end of the day, I would much rather have an energy dense meal than a nutrient dense meal that will have my body begging me to stop at 500 calories, which will lead to a nice deficit on my macro's.JDJ's 5/3/1 Revamped

Fast food is poor nutrition because it's not intended to be healthy; minimum price is the chief priority. They use the cheapest ingredients and cheapest cooking methods possible without regard to nutrition:
Food fried in peanut oil (high n-6:n-3 ratio). Genetically modified vegetables, which yield less nutrients. Meat may contain a stomach virus. High-carb and high-sodium. Supersizing leads to high-calorie meals that, if unaccounted for, may allow one to exceed their caloric goals and on to obesity.
But for amateur bodybuilders, fast food is cheap bulk food in moderation. In excess, fast food may lead to an destruction of health: acne, stomach aches, lethargy, insomnia, irritability, compromised immune system, all which in turn lead to reduced workout intensity. Kind of defeats the point of following a diet.

Bagels have miniscule amounts of trans fats. I hear trans fats cause some people to freak out and start lame threads about the very same miniscule amounts of trans fats that they just ate. Freaking out is probably not a good idea if you ride a motorcycle... could cause you to crash. You don't ride a motorcycle do you? If not, you should be fine.

Can someone post a link to a site that ranks all foods from most healthy to least healthy?
I'd post if for all the bros in this thread to use as their bible, but I can't seem to find it.
It would make all your lives easier, since it seems no one in this thread has yet grasped the concept that it's total nutrition that matters and that individual foods can not be healthy/unhealthy/good/bad on their own.

man oh man, there isn't anything i hate more on the planet than fast food. subway and similar places get a pass from me because of some lean meats and vegetables. its not just the extreme fat, salt, carbs and calories, but also the diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, cancer, pancreas stress, obesity, and whatever else i missed. having 1 fast food burger might be ok if you eat nothing but raw veggies, fruit and water for the rest of the day.
i guess chalk it up to me watching all these food documentaries on netflix where the message of pretty much all of those docs is that americans eat like sh!t and are fat and disease ridden because of it and we need to change our diets or we're gonna die. but i can't help it, all i have to do is walk down the street for 10 minutes and 75% of the people i see are fat and look like sh!t. just makes me want to push myself harder in the gym and eat cleaner.
i would believe that this would be a bigger problem in 2003 because of a lack of hard evidence of what a fast food diet does to you. but nope, people are still pouring in and out of mcdonalds getting fatter by the dayi have bested fruit, spike, and moon

You do realize that most fast food places have decently healthy choices, right? If not, spend some time in Wendy's. (their salads are killer )
Also, you do realize that I can go to the Cheesecake Factory and eat more calories/fat/sugar than I can at a fast food place, right? Or even eat more at home. I don't mess around with my alfredo sauce.

So then what is wrong with the macros from the Big Mac shown above? Take the name of the given food out of the equation and look at just the macros. What if it was a bowl of pasta with the exact same macros? Would you say that is unhealthy? And you do realize that the fat people in fast food restaurants probably don't even know what a macro is, let alone self control, right?

My farts are so powerful that I once propelled my self 10 feet into the air, then I **** my pants.
But like a true bodybuilder, I continued to finish my workout, the others were so impressed with me that they immediatly left the gym (some screaming) giving me total access to all the equipment! Then the fire sprinklers went off, so I washed my crack right there!
