East Lansing area.

I train at one of 3 gyms, depending upon my schedule: the IM Building, SNAP Fitness Haslett and Haslett High School. The people that workout at any of the mentioned facilities make the typical miscer look like a beast. The lack of a fitness community is one of roughly a thousand reasons that I will be returning to Cali after I get my doctorate.

An addendum to my previous post. My friend, girlfriend and I began somewhat of a quest to find real gyms in the East Lansing area. After checking them all out, I have to say that the scene isn't as bad as I had thought. Powerhouse in East Lansing and B-Strong in Dewitt are both decent. Definitely the most motivating gyms I've been to in the area.

Ann Arbor/Dexter area here. I workout solo at the gym here at work but when the recently-opened Dexter Wellness Center offers another free enrollment period I'll be going there. Can't wait!
