I have gynecomastia from doing the juice many years ago. I am SICK and TIRED of having these lumps in my chest! Can anyone recommend a low cost surgeon for the operation? The lowest price I've seen from a board certified plastic surgeon is $3500 total cost, but its out of state. I would be REALLY grateful for any good leads.
Thanks ahead of time!!!!!!!

Thanks for checking....I also really need a recommendation from former patients.
Some of the "after" surgery pics I've seen look terrible. Guys nipples all sliced up and bizarre looking.
I'm hoping to get the surgery technique which entails entry from the armpit and no actual cutting of the nipple area.

if I had a camera i would show you my after pictures. my nipples look fine and you cant tell they were sliced at all.
my suggestion is to go to a doctor and convince them that you are mentally unstable because of your gyne. tell them your confidence has plummeted, you're scared to take your shirt off, etc. just tell them that it has ruined your life in every way imaginable. that might get you some leverage to get this operation done for free.
but then again im canadian and i have no idea how things work in the states.

I got it done by Dr. Fitzpatrick @ Fairview Medical Clinic in Vancouver. Not too sure how much it costs but I'm sure it would be as much if not more than $3,500.

Best of luck. Gyne sucks. Ruined the first 18 years of my life.

Oh, and some advice to you young bucks. Don't take juice for your 15min of fame...it isn't worth it. Especially avoid androgens such as halotestin and anadrol. That is unless you want gyno, hair on your back, and fits of uncontrolled rage where you are throwing bicycle racks across Wendys parking lots....There are much safer, less androgenic drugs if you are determined to go the steroid route. You live an learn. When I was in my early 20's almost EVERYONE at my gym was on the juice so I was talked into making such a compromise.

I booked a consultation ($150). I was prepared to pay $5,000 for the surgery - I didn't care about the price I just wanted to get it done. I went there and he checked me out, asked me how it's been affecting my life, etc. I told him the truth - it was killing me on the inside (my gyne was bad and it literally ruined my life). He told me that he would book the operation in a couple of months. I asked him how much and he said "Free". It was the happiest day of my life.
With that said, I do get the feeling that he genuinely felt bad for me and cut me a break because he is a private surgeon and I'm sure he usually charges for his procedures.

I paid $4200 so that $3500 sounds like a good deal.
I'm very happy with my results though. I had to have the surgery because of using Andro back when I was 15 years old. I didn't know what it was and i was taking twice the recommended dose and had no understanding of pct. I figured it was safe since I bought it at a supplement store. Well, apparently not because it gave me growths under each nipple about the size of a ping pong ball.. You can see my results in my pictures and I'm very happy with how I look now.Last edited by Chris@UGA; 04-19-2008 at 04:07 PM.

UPDATE-With the outside chance my insurance will cover the surgery, I decided to see my family Doctor. He sent me to get an ultrasound etc...to confirm gynecomastia. Its not fat but actual glandular tissue. Upon a return visit my doctor said he is POSITIVE that Anthem Blue Cross WILL pay for the surgery! He said "dont even worry about it, they'll pay for it". I guess in large part it depends upon how it is submitted by the Doc, and at this point I have high hopes that this will get done without paying anything more than my deductible. I'll try to update later with further details for anyone else in the same boat.

i would just liek to say you're a moist vag for taking roids. i know a few friends on it, and they are dumbazfuk. one of them has knee issues bc his huge ass isnt supported by his chicken legs. you wanted to take roids for your 15 minutes of fame, i guess you gotta deal with the consequences man. now you're getting boned physically, mentally, and good ol' financially. hopefully you stay off the juicy juice. good luck w the operation.

So wait. You took something you really shouldnt have. Now you have something you shouldnt have. And are trying to get someone else to pay for the mistake you should have never made?
Idk to me its kinda grimmy.Idk anything about insurance or blue cross or anything. But I do know that the money is coming from someone elses pocket. And im sure that money could be better spent on something better rather than on someone who took or did something they shouldnt have in the first place, and now paying the consequence.
but best of luck to you.I START FIGHTS BUT ATLEAST I CAN READ BEFORE I POST

A further note. I was deep into the bodybuilding scene. I had friends who won World and USA titles. Roids were then and still are used by almost 100% of bodybuilding Pro's. It would better for everyone if these drugs did not exist, but because they do, its use is widespread.
