Hey there guys,
For my contest prep this time, I want to follow and leangains type of diet- but as I do cardio first thing in the morning, do you think it would be wise to take 2 scoops BCAAs and sip on them throughout the morning to prevent catabolism as much as possible?
I don't eat till about 1pm, train at 8am and 6pm and have BCAAs 10am-1pm onwards to sip on.
Cheers guys.

You aren't going to go catabolic, and if you have a properly balanced diet you don't need BCAA supplements either. Now if you WANT to take them because you feel they help you, then by all means do it... but don't do it just because.

Lean gains is just a period of fasting for 16 hours, eating over an 8 hour window- I feel it really helps with hunger, and this one has a good serve of citrulline/vitamin d.
I feel it really helps for hunger pangs, other than that maybe a lil difference in recovery.

If it helps with hunger pangs, go for it. I found SciVation Xtend to be pretty tasty. I've been training fasted for months now, and I did find that sometimes a bottle of SciVation would make me feel full... but I've since learned to enjoy coffee and really don't bother with BCAA stuff anymore.

ok i know what your talkin about now but i still stick with my original answer. not gonna hurt but i don't think it'll make any noticeable difference. make sure you get your diet right during your eating period and get all your macros in. sleep is going to be a big part too man..largely over looked as wel
