I can't speak for human children, but my dog children are definitely loved "differently". Don't get me wrong, I love them both, but not the same way!

Tonight she won't put any weight on her left hind leg. I've checked her paw and can't find anything wrong. I've run my hands over the leg and can't find anything. Worried it may be her hip. If it's not better in the morning we'll be going to the vet. Should've seen us maneuvering the stairway to the bedroom tonight. Never a dull moment around here.

She won't put ANY weight on it? She may have blew her cruciate. It's pretty rare for them to one day be fine and the next have hip problems. Blowing the cruciate ligament on the other hand... One paw in a good hole while running and it's all over but the crying.

I hope she is just being a baby!!!!

Last night she wouldn't put ANY weight on it whatsoever. This morning things seemed much better...she is still favoring it, but she would at least walk on it. I felt the leg again and manipulated it a bit...she doesn't show any signs of pain. I'm thinking she may have just pulled a muscle?? And yeah it was VERY sudden, and she's not a super active dog. The only thing I can figure is she injured it getting on or off the couch. She's got a rough life.

Doc gave me the thumbs up yesterday as the incision is healing well and the bruising is minimal. Sporting a purple donut for a belly button. Check again in 3 weeks.

LOL! Well, thank ya, sir. Just wasn't sure how to break the news on here.

Everything went well. I felt good from the moment I woke up...not a single pain pill was ever taken! I see the surgeon for my one week follow up tomorrow and I will be begging him to lift as many of the restrictions as possible. I neeeeeeed to get back in the gym!

Glad your recovery is going so well. I'll race ya back to the squat rack!

Girlfriend, I envy the lack of pain pills. I haz a wimpyness going on with the belly and the tri both trying to heal. Today is my 1st day with nothing.


BTW, after all the reconstruction, Gen was the same with her finals. No real pain. Was awesome for her to have a procedure that was positive and relatively painless. I particularly enjoyed the massage part of that whole deal. Still do! Shocking, ain't it?!

No jumping the gun on exercising! You want shapely pockets. I know...sounds weird!
