I'd suggest 1-2 grams of protein per pound of LEAN BODY MASS not "weight" depending on your goals (cut, bulk or recomp).
Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

This^^^ Every clinical study over the last decade or so show's the maximum benefit of protein achieved in .625-.8 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight. These tests are done in drug free athletic individuals. I can see it varying a bit based on bodyfat. Anymore will be turned to glucose.
