Depends on your angle.
I change mine up a lot. I can do 155x8 or so with my torso nearly parallel to the ground, and the bar touching below my chest at the top. I can also do 185x6 with my torso more upright (45˚ or so).
It all depends.Last edited by musicality213; 04-17-2010 at 01:48 PM.

Let your arms drop a little lower, get more ROM.
Don't "jerk" the weight up at the top of the rep. You are basically shrugging the weight once it's near the top of your quad. You want to pull back, not upward."Success rests not only on ability, but upon commitment, loyalty, and pride."

First off, this thread is useless, you attention whore. Clearly 225 barbell row is good.
Second off, you DONT barbell row 230, your form sucks...
Please leave your ego at the door, and stop being cocky. And please stop being so stubborn, everyone has told you your form sucks at 230, but apparently to you its great, besides the "momentum" on your 5th rep.

yes it is a proper yates row.Just stop doing that little jerking thing at the end.
as for what everyone is referring to as proper form, that is a pendley row. They work different parts of the back. But OP seems to be getting butt hurt over an internet forum and the rest seem like they are mad that OIP knows something they dont.
I love this section almost as much as the misc sometimes. We the type of crew, to get fresh just to sit in the living room.-Bill O'Reilly
