Chicken Thighs (Dark Meat): Is it bad for cutting?

I'm so sick of chicken breasts day in and day out. I prefer chicken thighs, but i read somewhere that the fat content is higher compared to the former. Does the fit your macro rule apply here?
    You jagaloons! You're failures! FAILURES!
Hey, you're embarrassing yourself, you geriatric ****!
    Brennan.
Two things: You keep your liver-spotted hands off my beautiful mother. She's a saint! And then you sit down and you write Dale and Brennan a check for $10,000.
Oh, stop it! Stop it right...
Or I'm gonna shove one of those fake hearing devices so far up your ass...
    Brennan!

Of course it does. If you can afford the extra calories from the added fat content of dark meat vs. white meat, then use the cheaper dark meat. Now if you are eating massive amounts, and on a strict cut, then you may not be able to fit them in too easily.

Fat content is higher with the thigh and all darker meats. I do prefer this from time to time as it has a different taste, I particularly like Turkey thigh.

In moderation it should not be too dramatic but to keep your macros in check, use something like this to check out your thigh - http://caloriecount.about.com/calori...eat-only-i5097

I fit them into my calories because of the price. Totally worth it to keep yourself from getting sick of chicken breasts.
Short term Goal: To cut back before bulking like a demon.
Mid term Goal: To find myself.
Long term Goal: To get what's mine.

67 lbs in 9 years and still counting... (started at 100lbs)

Ding. Ding. I cycle fats/carbs per Martin's recommendation, so drumsticks are a staple on non-training days. I usually eat 10 of them (only 1000 calories).
