    Steak Fat

Hey guys, I have a question for you. Now Im not a total idiot, I know that fat on any meat isnt good for you however I am wondering how bad the fat on steak really is. I hate to say it but my favorite part of a steak is the thin layer of fat around the edges. We eat steak usually 3 times a week and Im still in the early stages of losing weight. In a perfect world I would cut the fat off but I usually dont. Exactly how bad is this fat and how badly is it going to set me back if I dont cut it off of my steak. In my head I am thinking that its not a teribly huge amount and that the set backs shouldnt be detrimental to my diet.

everything in moderation in fine. We need some sat fat and cholesterol, but it can be overdone.

That fat on a steak is not bad for you. Eat your steak and be happy. You will reap the benefits. However, I would choose a fatty cut over a lean cut.
