If I have 4 egg whites on pumpernickel bread twice per day is that too much??
so that's 8 egg whites per day total.
I also put cheese on them.

dont think theres a thing as too much. same with whole eggs i wouldnt worry either.
to get the egg whites out of the egg just crack the egg in half and play with the yolk over the bowl/pan scooping it back and forth between the two shells.

Eggs have more nutrition than chicken. Chicken tastes yuck to me. Maybe the 150g a day in tuna means i dont like any more light meat.

Is there any particular reason you are avoiding whole eggs? at 70 calories per I can't imagine any reason to not eat them. The cholesterol has been proven to have little to no negative effects on blood cholesterol and what effect it does have is usually good unless you are predisposed to high cholesterol.

You're probably right. I guess i have always been brainwashed into thinking they are not good for you.. but after doing some readings it turns out the yellow part is where most of the nutrients come from.
Your saying around 70/cal per egg, and how much protein on average? I have medium sized eggs.

Actually, just to be accurate, there is such a thing as too many egg whites (in the absence of yolks).
When cooked you're mostly likely OK with a moderate to high amount, but when talking about a couple dozen or more you should probably start looking for another source of protein. If you're eating them raw (not popular but some do), you need to be much more careful.
You see, egg whites were always meant to be consumed with the yolks and there is some symbiosis there in relation to the human diet.
I know because I was looking for a cheap source of protein on a cut way back when and I had a few very bad side effects. Granted I was consuming many of those whites raw, but I had headaches, bloody noses, and my I lost an inch on my hairline in less than a month. Yes, srs.

That said, there is such a thing as too many egg whites. But when not taken to extremes and not taken raw you're probably going to be ok. Just for the sake of accuracy since the OP asked (many years ago) "how many is too many?"
