Wanted to start a thread because there are 8907123 ways to prepare and eat cottage cheese, which is one of the cleanest sources of protein out there. I myself just recently added it to my diet plan s part of my pre-workout meal (combined with around 40-60g carbs and either fruit or jam for some sugar to kick up my energy before the gym).
However, I am getting tired of just plain fat-free cottage cheese, so I'm here for ideas.
Obviously fruit, such as peaches or pineapple are commonly used, but what other ways have you come up with?

Best ways to eat cottage cheese in my opinion are as followed
1. Blended smooth (may need a little water or almond milks depending on brand) then mix in sf/ff pudding mix and freeze
2. Blended with ranch dip mix, and eaten with vegetables
3. Blended and used to make waffles.. makes em nice n fluffy
4. Eaten with fruit
5. Blended with eggs and drizzled with some sf maple syrup
I'm sure Ive eaten it other good ways, but these are the ones i do routinely

When I have no choice I man up and eat it straight, but if I have a choice I`ll have it with sliced peaches, it`s the only way to cut the salt taste. Blueberries work well also, but peaches are still better. Tried it with PB and could barely finish it.. Greek yogurt I could eat straight out the container, and tastes like dessert with 1 scoop of whey.

Fat free cottage cheese? *barf*
I love cottage cheese straight from the container, but either the full fat or low fat kind only. And I can't stand my cottage cheese mixed with anything sweet. The only exception is the pumpkin protein cheesecake I make that uses ff cottage cheese.
But some things I do with regular cottage cheese:
Make roll ups with deli roast beef, cottage cheese, blue cheese, and buffalo sauce.
Mix ranch dressing powder with it and use it for veggie dip.
Dice up chicken, add cottage cheese, parmesan cheese and spaghetti sauce, microwave for a few minutes and it's like noodle-free lasagna...melty. I do the same with chicken, cottage cheese, buffalo sauce and blue cheese.
Use it in my baked stuffed shells recipe.
Use cottage cheese instead of mayo in my tuna salad.

I love cottage cheese plain, but...
...usually in my pancakes. Not talking the "blend oats, egg whites, and cottage cheese" protein pancakes, Im talking pancakes with cottage cheese stirred in. I would prefer ricotta, but more cals and less protein.
Google cottage cheese hotcakes or ricotta hotcakes. So damn good. Find a local joint that makes lemon-ricotta pancakes and you will see what Im talking bout. Best textured pancake you will ever have.

Salsa or Picante sauce, and some shavings of Parmesan on top.
No brain, no gain.
