Personal experience, that is all. 3 weight lifting days + 1 day of cardio + abs seems to be the happy point for me. I used to do more, but figured that it was actually detrimental to my goals.
Anything more, my recovery time is hurt and I actually have trouble gaining mass. YMMV and all that.

Thanks girl, yeah since I used those straps last week my wrists have completely healed and I did everything without straps yesterday and feel fine now. I'll still probably use them occasionally if my wrists start acting up again. I noticed my lifts in my back went up a lot ever since I've been attempting pull-ups. For instance I used to do one-arm dumbbell rows with 6kg dumbbells (12reps till failure), yesterday I tried and they were way too light, I ended up using 12kg dumbbells (for 12reps) and I feel like I could have even gone higher. Thanks for asking. : ) How is your training going?

That's really good! After a while you probably won't need to use straps at all. How close are you to doing a full pull up?
Training is going well. Progressing with each workout. I get paid today or tomorrow so going to go ahead and order a 20lb (9kg) kettle bell and start integrating it into my training. Really excited to start training Russian style .
