Now then!
So last time I did a fat loss log it was when I first figured out how to count calories back in 2011. Last year I cut down to how I look above ^^^ and this year I plan to cut down to 6% Body Fat where from then I will assess how I am looking and either enter my first competition after some prep OR slowly bulk up some more first. I should be around 170lbs at 6% Body Fat.
I will be doing 2 quick progress videos every week, showing front, side and rear poses. My posing is not the best, I have a lot to learn, so this is also great practice and a big learning curve!
Here's the last picks I took, end of December 2012:
No lower body shots but it will all be out in the vids :P
Hopefully this will help keep anyone else who has decided they want to lose fat for the New Year stay on the right track. Don't give up after a month... I am slogging this out for 5 months... YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!

I'm in fatty
Looking really big Danny and you've got plenty of underlying mass to make this cut worthwhile. 170 and 6% will look beastly!
Nice work to be able to cut on 2400 cals as well!
What are you going to use to track the cals?Last edited by fittofattofit; 01-03-2013 at 09:09 AM.

HAHA Fatties UNITE!
I cut last year at around 2300 for much of the duration, I do not know yet if 2400 is too much or too little but will know in a week or two. On the left last year 10th March I was 191lbs and on the right back in November I am around 187lb I believe. I feel I have made some decent gains.
I'm tracking calories on myfitnesspal, add me if you got it mate, same username lllDBOlll"Ain't nothing to it but to do it"

In and subbed as a current forever cutting
Feels like fecking ages now, all last and and half this year coming, oh the joys. Watching and hearing you suffer as well might keep me sane ha.One man has enthusiasm for 30 minutes, another for 30 days, but it is the man who has it for 30 years who makes a success of his life.

Day 6
So official weight this morning (after a big slash and a turn out) was 186.6lbs. Will assess calories next week if loss is more than 1lb but I think it should be ok.
Posing "endurance" is difficult something I need to build up, along with actually nailing the poses themselves.
It's actually really harder than you think it would be.

Calories: 2410kcal
Protein: 195g
Carbs: 220g

Day 6 vid looks good ---- you almost look like you know how to pose
This vid really shows off your legs well --- one big advantage of being a former fatty is that you have killer calves.
My cut will have to wait for a few more weeks til I'm off vacation, but damn, I'd love to have your mass as a base"Better to wear out than rust out!"

LOL almost... but not :P
My calves have been above average since being a child but you are right the years of being overweight has definitely brought them on. I used to walk around on my tip toes as well when I was a kid I remember getting a lot of telling off's over it... looks like walking around like a fairy has paid off!
Day 10(?) video tomorrow, looking forward to Sunday, will see if I need to eat more or not... sure hope so :P"Ain't nothing to it but to do it"
