Could not get the 3rd rep no matter what I tried. Fckin p!ssed me off. Oh well. I'll see what's in store on 1+ week
BBB
80 5x10
No problems at all with these.
Chins
12,11,9,8,6,6, for 51. Nothing spectacular.
Incline press
50 4x10
Got all 4 sets of 10 in this time as opposed to 2 sets of 8 from last week.
Overall, MEH. Not satisfied with today's workout at all. Well I guess it's time to get ready for turkey day here in teh states. I'm gonna pig out and then hit the squat for 1+ on Friday. Just gotta put this workout behind me.

I hate missing reps with a passion. OHP tends to stall a little the quickest, but see what you get on 1+ day before you make any adjustments. Enjoy your Turkey Day!

Nice! I'm doing a little Thanksgiving-type get together at my house tomorrow as well. Even though I'm a Kraut, I lived in the US for years at a time, so it's one of the traditions I enjoy so much I've kept it going here in Germany. Doing turkey + stuffing, corn bread, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, stuffed mushrooms, etc. and the German twist is apple strudel (just put it in the oven) with vanilla ice cream. Also some German beer (still got some Spaten Oktoberfest). Gonna be an epic backload after bench day tomorrow!

Yeah, my gym would be closed too, but tomorrow isn't a holiday here luckily. It will suck over Christmas, because I'd like to work out and then use the big dinners as backloads. Maybe one of the gyms in the area will be open and I'll just get a day pass. Chopping wood is a nice workout for sure.

Cycle 5 wave 3 squats
Turkey fueled squats
160 1x5
190 1x5
225 1x3
265 1x5
290 1x3
300 1x2
300 1x1
Yeah buddy, these felt GOOD. Had the other powerlifter dude come over while I was unracking it to yell 'CHEST UP' at me, wanted to get 1 rep and then hit some singles but I was motivated to hit another rep. Probably could have gone fore 3. Took about a minute rest then hit a single. Good show.
BBB Squats
160 5x10
These felt HEAVY...fcuk. By the 7th rep on all set it took all I had to finish them. The last 2 sets were real grinders.
Pullups
9, 10
Yeah, that's all I did. I had no engery left for them after then squats...oh well.
SLDL
70 4x10
Last 2 sets felt heavy and really had to pull to get the final rep on sets 3 and 4. Will be increasing weight next cycle to 75lbs.
All in all I'd say it was a great start to wave 3, even though I had to wait for a cross*** to finish doing his 5 sets of RDL in teh squat rack. Brother in law came to the gym with me so I was happy...then said it was his arm day(lol). But I was stoked today for 300 and got it. 2 days off then some heavy benching MondayOG

Nice workout. It is awesome when like minded people at the gym give encouragement. There is about maybe 5 people at my gym that I see regularly that squat, deadlift, bench and press. Good little wolfpack.
