great job with the big plates. Good to hear your lifts are challenging your grip strength, that grip work will help tremendously as you progress in your pulling movements.
Awesome review also.

Thanks Lonnie!
Still feeling a bit stiff in the legs and back but going to workout as planned. I should do alright.. hopefully still manage to hit some PR's
I'm up 8# so far and feeling good about it. I'm about as heavy as I was when I hit my chubbiest and decided to cut down, BUT I can fit in all my clothes (minus my skinniest pants of course)! My pants are getting pretty tight in the legs... which means growth!!! YESSSS!!! I'm getting a little chub, but can still see my abs... the PR's and the leg growth is worth it"The minute you lose confidence in yourself and stop believing... you've lost" by Jan Matthews

Had a great workout tonite! Though the stiffness in my back and hammy's were going to slow me down but I still felt great & PR'd!!! To make things even better one dude told me that he was amazed at the weight I was 'legit' squatting. Then while I was running my circuit, a couple of older ladies tapped me on the shoulder and told me that I looked great and that watching gave them motivation to keep pushing. Made me feel pretty awesome... PR plus compliments. Things must be working!"The minute you lose confidence in yourself and stop believing... you've lost" by Jan Matthews

Thanks! I know motivation is huge. I always wanted to lift and get strong but it wasn't until I seen all the awesome ladies here (plus fitting gym in the budget) that I really set out to reach my goals. Im glad I can do that for someone else
Thanks Nori! Feels good! My hard work is paying off! Hopefully I will notice some good changes soon too

Well there's good new and bad news....
Bad news always first so... the shoulder is NOT happy DAMN!!! I was hoping a couple of rest days would do it some good but nope. I'm pretty much icing as I type. Looks like this weeks planned deload is going to be a modified rest week. I don't want to take the week completely off, but I can't really do much. So, the new plan is to still get some easy peasy squats in per the SL plan and then follow those up with cardio (Stairway to hell here I come). Since DL, bench, OHP, and rows will all pull on my shoulder a bit I'm going to put them off til next week. Hopefully that will be enough time for the shoulder to heal up.
Good news... well 2 pieces of good news:
1) I FINISHED NROLFW!!!!!!
2)DL PR!!! I was worried I wasn't going to be able to pull this off with the shoulder but I did
STAGE 7 -6 THE END!!!!!
P/W: 1 scoop con-cret + 1.5 scoops beta-cret
BB Deadlift
115x6 *as soon as I picked this up I knew my shoulder wasn't happy
135x6
185x6 PR!!
185x3 PR!!
175x2
4x, 15 reps, 30s rest
B1: DB Squat, heels raised on plates
*I was not about to use ANY weight on these, since this is what messed up my shoulder in the first place
BWx15
BWx15
BWx15
BWx15
B2: Step up
BWx15
BWx15
BWx15
BWx15
*Overall, I didn't have a great workout because I was limited by the shoulder... BUT I hit a PR!!!! Which was what I was hoping to hit. AND I finished New Rules!!!
**I finally get to say that I completed my first lifting program!!! WWOOOOOOOO!!!!
Gotta take care of this shoulder... keep studying for finals... and squeeze laundry in there somewhere. Sorry guys progress/end NR pics will have to wait til Wednesday most likely.
Hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!!!"The minute you lose confidence in yourself and stop believing... you've lost" by Jan Matthews
