So I was perusing my local supplement store and came across some Hemavol. There were two flavors, fruit punch and watermelon, so I picked up the watermelon. To my surprise, the ingredients on the back were in a proprietary blend. I checked out the fruit punch, non prop ingredient list. The watermelon looked "newer" as far as minor label changes. Has Hemavol, a supplement staple, moved to the darkside and jumped on the prop blend bandwagon? Anyone else seen this?

It's the same great stuff, but my guess is because of it being the best and really only powder pump product in its category worth taking for a long time they just showed the whole label, but now that the market is becoming flooded with pump powders they just decided to label it proprietary for people just comparing labels. A lot of people know to look for the words agmatine, citrulline, and gms but not the proper dosages.

considering hemavol is one of the most imitated products right now due to the pump product craze, I could understand why they would move to a prop blend. If the dosages are the same, who cares. There isn't a "dark side" if the company is reputable like iForce is.

nothing has changed. Our label attorneys made us change numerous labels that had a matrix listed, and also the active dose. We'd prefer it to be the way it was listed, but HQ decided we had to have the matrices named for marketing purposes.

I work at Vitamin Shoppe and can confirm the switch to a prop blend
Looks like "hemodynamics matrix"
4.1 grams in the blend which has citrulline Malate, glycerol monostearate, agmatine sulfate and norvalline
Then they have "nitrix oxide vasodilation support matrix"
100mg in that blend of L-alpha-glycerylphosphorylcholine, rutacaerpine and epimedium (leaves) (20%)

[QUOTE=Big_Spaz;1293128861]Took a step back? Vaughn just said nothing has changed. How is the wording on the label affecting (negatively) what is going into your body? It's not, still the exact same great product you have always been using.
Well you as a rep should know that customers are sick of the "prop blend" I always steer my customers away from products that have a blend
Why would your company go from not having a blend, to a blend? If it's the "same product" as you say then the ingredients label should have been left the same.
Here in my store (vitamin shoppe) sales for hemavol have already dropped since making the switch about 2 months ago.
