About to go to Mississippi to help my friend at a meet. 15 people in the entire meet. At least it shouldn't take too long.
Meet: 440/248/485 = 1173@144 sp

E-5 means you're a sergeant right? Does that mean you don't need to shave your head?
I don't care.

Yeah, E-5 is Sergeant but you only hav to have your head shaved in bootcamp. After that you can grow it out but it still has to be within regulation. For Marines that regulation is you have to have bare skin on the sides then a fade going up to no more than three inches on top.

Army regs just say that your neck line has to be clean and no hair can touch your ears. I'm just barely out of Army regs and I have about two days of stubble on my face. I would have told anyone else to **** off, but there's no sense in arguing with the SNCOIC of the tax center. He's still not going to let me do my taxes.

Depends on the fed. There's a few
RAW504 meets every year in New Orleans and our USAPL state championship is always two hours away. Mississippi and Alabama aren't too too far away. Last two meets I've gone to help at we're 4 and 2 hours away. But if you're in or close to Florida you've got it made.Meet: 440/248/485 = 1173@144 sp

A bunch of us maxed out today. Our club got our first 500 lbs squatter, he got 505 right after. I had the longest squat known to man kind, vid will be up shortly. I got 270 tng bench as well, then 250 paused which flew up, missed 260 paused which we later found out was misloaded with 2.5 more lbs on one side. Whatever.
Looks like my ascent was about 10 secs, but a dude got in the way for about half of it.Last edited by arian11; 03-30-2012 at 09:15 PM.

Yes it looks a little high but a good attempt nevertheless. Judging by the projected stats in your sig "600/430/680 and or 1700 total @ 198 Raw the next time I step on the platform...", if you went for a meet now the 600 does look a little far ahead. Not knocking your efforts/aspirations at all though.

Definitely a little but, it flew up pretty quickly so there's no doubt you would get it if you dropped a couple inches lower at the bottom.
I got a PR that didn't count (to me) yesterday on deads because I hitched it so bad. And why are the safety pins so high on your user pic?Celer, Silens, Mortalis - - - - - Meet Lifts: 584/385/600 @ 229 - - - - - Gym Lifts: 600/405/605
