Haha, yea Erick put this quote as his FB status. So I commented and asked if he'd go on dat dere cell tech as well. He said yes. I like to switch every "squat" in the quote with "deadlift" and then ask the person if they still agree with that statement.

To be clear, I'm not banging on or commenting on people's personal choices I just giggle every time I read those quotes because I imagine people running for the squat rack expecting to progress like a bunch of genetically gifted elite coached olympic lifters the best of whom have Olympic level or even record lifts on video yet for some reason don't seem to make it to the Olympic team and in some cases get a couple years to think about why that might be.

Jamie Lewis just hit 615/355/645 for 1615@168 with no knee wraps, 40 lbs over Conyers's all-time WR. I'm guessing he could drop the extra 3 lbs and break the record. He said he's still unsure of whether he'll be a 181 or 165 for RUM.

I remember that time I went on the internet and talked **** about people who could beat the ****ing brakes off me and then outlift me at everything. Oh wait, no I don't, because I have pride and dignity and actually spend my time lifting ****ing weights.

You guys should have a ****-talking convention and invite the people about whom you talk **** as keynote speakers... then call a bunch of ambulances for yourselves. I'm sure you idiots would find a way to justify your various collective handicaps and disfigurements thereafter, however.

This is the 2nd time I've heard of Jamie Lewis miss weight. He couldn't make 165 at 2012 USAPL Raw Nationals. I really hope if he chooses to do 165 that he makes the weight and we see what he can do. Or make the decision to go 181 and start putting on some more mass and see where the strength goes.
