OmegaRX fish oil by Dr. Sears comes in liquid form
OmegaRx Fish Oil 120 Capsules or
OmegaRx Fish Oil 8 Oz Bottle
Pharmaceutical Grade Fish Oil Can Change Your Life!
OmegaRx Pharmaceutical-Grade Fish Oil has a high concentration of long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids and it is highly refined and pure. It contains 1,000 times less PCB's than most health food grade fish oil.
What is Pharmaceutical-grade Fish Oil?
Pharmaceutical-grade fish oil starts with thermally fractionated health-food fish oil that is then distilled by highly complex refining technology into fractions rich in long-chain omega-3 fatty acids that are exceptionally low in the long-chain monoenes (that cause gastric distress) and pollutants such as PCB's and oxidized and polymerized lipids.
The individual fractions are then combined to provide the most appropriate balance of EPA and DHA for the finished oil. The typical one-gram capsule of pharmaceutical-grade fish oil will have at least 600 mg. of long-chain omega-3 fatty acids. This may not seem a major concentration improvement compared to the health-food grade fish oils, however, the increase in the purity of the oil is why it costs nearly twice as much. This purity is also reflected in a dramatically improved taste profile.
Only pharmaceutical-grade fish oils enable you to consume the required daily intake of long-chain omega-3 fatty acids needed to alter eicosanoid synthesis without gastric distress or fear of accumulation of environmental pollutants.
Note: Vitamin E is often included in fish oils as a preservative. At low levels, approximately 5 I.U./gram of fish oil, it is protective. At higher levels, such as 20 I.U./gram of fish oil, it can actually speed up the oxidative process.
OmegaRx pharmaceutical-grade fish oil contains a minimum of 60% of long-chain omega-3 fatty acids (although it routinely reaches 75%) with 5 I.U. of Vitamin E per gram of fish oil. The only way you can determine that a fish oil is truly pharmaceutical-grade is to look for the OmegaRx brand imprinted on every capsule.

thanks guys, i'll look into to those (OmegaRx is kinda pricy though)...i just rather take a tablespoon of oil instead of taking 12+ capsules each day (don't worry I also try to eat salmon once a day too).
Since some brands state where their oil is coming from on their ingredients list, does anybody know what source is the best for these oils: cod, salmon, sardines, etc.? Or should only the EPA/DHA content per serving matter? thanks again."One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing to devote our attention to eating..."

Carlson and Nordic Naturals make good liquid fish oil. It doesn't taste too bad either.

you guys all just went for a 6-7 year old thread.
Barleans Fish and Cod Liver Oils are excellent liquid forms, with a lot more DHA/EPA per serving, especially when you factor cost. The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance- it is the illusion of knowledge.
