celebs got it easy. they just hire somebody to control their diet and workouts. pulling that off on your own requires so much more dedication and motivation

"When we're in the gym, we're in this indescribable euphoria zone. It's a feeling of being on, of being completely alive and aware. If you haven't been there, then it's like trying to describe color to a person who's been blind since birth. Within this haze of pleasure and pain, there's knowledge and power, self-discipline and self-reliance."

Seems like from time to time I read about celeb x being in one movie, then showing up in the next all cut plus muscular. Plus filming 12 hours a day and partying all night.
I always suspect that those fancy Hollywood trainers give them special vitamins.
What, you thought that only Barry Bonds took vitamins? I figure they love vitamins in Hollywood. Some make you look good, and some make you happy (when you're not in rehab).Internet Weightlifting Expert.

Damn he did get big. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he and other actors are on cycle. Honestly steroids are probably one of the safer drugs they are using. I know Stallone is famous for using.

I didn't mean to imply that it didn't still take willpower and determination. You're right - one still has to lift the weights. I just figure if you've got someone to do all the "thinking" for you, it saves a bit of time. I can't speak for anyone else, but I put a fair amount of time into figuring out just what I want to do in the gym, keeping track of it to see how it's working for me and what I need to change, preparing food and all the rest - which gets to be a bit of a pain when work days get to be 15+ hours. It would be great to have someone worry about all that for me - but I've got other things to spend the money on.
The hour or so in the gym? Yes, it's hard physical work and takes focus. But that part I look forward to, and oftentimes is the highlight of the day...

Not to insult anyone here, but you have to remember that the training and diet knowledge chasm between the average person here and a true top caliber trainer is the size of the grand canyon. That's why they make $400 an hour.
Also, Matt Damon is not a small guy, he has great genetics. Everyone just thinks he's small because they always see him next to Affleck, who is a pretty big guy.RKC Instructor

Decent shoulders+low bodyfat makes actors look jacked. Especially when they're the only in shape people in the movie.
Of course Brad Pitt looks jacked in fight club. I'd be Mr.O next to Edward Norton(no American History X)"poooo wee cum dicks eat a vagina flying racist"- nannystate
