Nice...i wish i went with enviormental science or geology instead of business mgmt...i really want to get into that field and would be cool to do a technical role in that field...even just a small role.
I wad going to pursue gis but after initial research i found jobs are far and few between
Most gov. Jobs around here say they req. A 4yr degree in a science field...do you think it would be easy to get into it with a AA degree in enviro science and maybe even a certificate in something? Gonna try to avoid organic chem so the certificates may be limited.

Many state jobs give a certain ranking to a 4 yr degree in the field they are hiring, less if 4 yrs in another field or an AA with significant experience in the field, so you should have a good chance to get a look if you get some time and experience.
I have a couple guys that work for me with AA degrees. One had 20 years in the Coast Guard as an environmental cleanup specialist and eventually as a supervisor over a couple crews. The other had 15 years in the field before coming to work for us.Journal- One of the Ogres

I did my undergraduate degree in Environmental Science, major in Groundwater Hydrology. I did my honours year in Groundwater Modelling. I worked for a bit but now I'm doing my PhD in Groundwater-Vegetation interactions & modelling (School of Civil Engineering this time). Seems I can't stay away from the academic life!!

AS in Legal Studies
BS in Animal Sciences -prevet
HAve not worked in any field related to my degrees, though the years of animal studies prepped me for personal training. Animals still have to balance protiens, carbs and fats, Ive been formualting diets using macros as well as building muscle in animals since i was 12. Too bad i didnt realize that i would rather be a trainer sooner than i did, would have saved 30 grandwww.bikinisandbiceps.com

No one is going to care more about your progress than you. Everyone else is too busy chasing their own. You either do what you need to do to progress, or you remain where you are. The choice is yours.
