What an uninspiring election. Two completely unremarkable candidates who were within a point or two of a tie from the popular vote perspective, even closer from an electoral vote perspective (in terms of who won which states and by how much). I don't see how anyone could have really been happy with either outcome. As for Obama, look at who he beat and by how much. He barely beat Mitt Romney. That's like barely beating the KC Chiefs. Ooh, yay.
Today is exactly like yesterday. More or less the same parties in the same distributions in all the branches. At least gridlock has been preserved. That does make me happy.2 + 2 = 5 (for extremely large values of 2)
