So girls have imaginary iphone conversations in their heads after they go on a date?
Thats pretty cool OP, I didn't know that.
Edit: How'd I get here?

Cool.
So the guy comes across as a loser or someone who is focussed entirely on his career and you come across as a bitch.
After reading a number of feminist discussions/arguments over the last week, it's an amusing contrast to see a woman stating they were pissed off because they had to pay on a date (my god - the horror!)
You managed to go an entire conversation referring to how someone looked, their physical traits, how their apartment looked and their career...you must be a blast in conversation!

Skamps, You do realize the bad date was a direct result of your actions (or lack of action)? He "lost" his wallet and you had to pay for all the drinks. Why not leave after one drink? The fact that you didn't have the good sense to walk after something that was obviously a red flag he was immature is your fault. People will treat you how you allow them to.
Why not call the same friend you were complaining to and have her pick you up? I sure as hell wouldn't go home with someone I did not know. That's extremely risky. Personally after he lost his wallet I would have gone home though with plenty of money to get there.
Looking through his drawers in bullshyt.
Mr Big, I'm not a feminist. I'm not paying on the first date. End of story. Don't like it? Move along.

I never said I had a problem with paying on the first date - I simply find the OP's post amusingly antithetical to the broad movement towards equality and away from objectification based on physical characteristics.
I still pay on first dates (not that I've had a 'first' date for a long time), open the door and try to stand gutter side where possible. Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

ok here comes the mama lecture
lookie here pretty pretty princess
a man is not a woman
he has his own ideas on neatness and manners which may not be yours
losing your wallet happens sometimes
this does not make him the devil
if you did not care for your one date
then grow some ballz little girl and tell him so
stop being a b*tch and talking sh*t about him behind his back
if you do not like the man
then so be it
but why take the time to come on this site and bash him?
jesus what the f*ck is wrong with people?

Filth is not something I will overlook. I told my husband the first time I came over that his place better be clean or I'm going home. But I told him beforehand what I expected. I did not expect him to read my mind.
My house is clean and always has been. I will not live any other way.

Im on your side about everything but the whole surprise me for breakfast thing. I hate when girls do this. Just seriously ask for what you want. But on the being picky part thats all you, if this is the first impression I can only imagine how it would get when he becomes comfortable with you
