    PB2: Perfect for Protein Shakes

The CSPI (Center for Science in the Public Interest) just did a write up endorsing PB2. They are not paid advertisers, but a non-profit consumer advocacy group focusing on nutrition. PB2 is a peanut butter powder that you mix with water. They've managed to extract almost all the peanut oil, yet retain 5g protein. It's completely natural as you can see from the ingredient list. I add this to my protein shakes and really adds to the taste. If you're sick of the whey flavor, love peanut butter but hate the high calories and fat this is your best bet.

    PB2: Powdered Peanut Butter
Ingredients: Roasted peanuts, sugar and salt.
Serving size: 2 Tablespoons (12 grams)
    Calories: 45
    Calories from fat: 13

    Total fat 1.5 g 3%
    Saturated fat 0 g 0%

    Sodium 94 mg 4%

Wow that's a lot cheaper and the nutritional value is identical. Can you make peanut butter with peanut flour by adding water?

pretty good IMO. Just lacks the semi-sweetness that I get from my average natty PB. Sometimes I add about 1/2 tsp of stevia or packet of splenda to it. Does the trick.

Trader Joe's had it but stopped selling it in January due to low sales. Can't remember the price but it was damn cheap. Nooooooo!

I eat this constantly. I use it a lot in sludge along with a scoop of Chocolate Peanut Butter Whey and some Oats and it is great.

If you just take one serving (30g) and mix it with water to PB consistency, you WILL need to add some kosher salts to it and it will taste very similar to PB.

I REALLY like it in the fact that it basically has Protein powder macros.

Like I said, I use it most to create very peanut buttery choco peanut butter tasting sludge/proats/used for toast

I'll upload some pics later if you want.

Everyone that has PB2 in their possession should do the following...

    1) PB2 + Davinci Syrup "Sugar Free" Vanilla = Pretty much regular PB
    2) Rep Irishpilot

Topped my pancakes with them tonight, words cannot describe... nom nom nom... exact same consistency as natty PB too..
