Are there any signs that indicate if it's high or low? How can you figure out where you're at?

Go see your Doc and have blood work done and have him check your Test level. At 30, you're most likely zipping full of "mo joe"!

Have your total testosterone level and your free testosterone checked. It doesn't do you much good to have a high total testosterone level if it is all bound. Only the free and bioavailable testosterone can be used by your body. It also wouldn't hurt to have your sex hormone binding gobulin (SHBG) level checked. This is what binds up most of your testosterone.

I had blood work this week and found out my testosterone is on the higher end for a woman my age.
The test is quick and easy.T.H.I.N.K before you speak. Ask yourself, is it TRUE, HELPFUL, INSPIRATIONAL, NECESSARY, and KIND? If not, then just keep it to yourself.

While a test will tell you your levels it also depends what is low for YOU. When I hit 50 I could feel my testosterone levels were getting lower. I didn't have the spunk in me, low energy, low sex drive, etc. I had the test and my levels came back around 900 which was very high for my age BUT it was low for ME. I know my body and I know my levels were dropping. I figure my levels must have been up around 5,000 when I was in my 20's. My naturally high test levels have allowed me to put on bulk quite easily even at an older age BUT my levels are still going down for ME. The doctors tend to look at "averages" and to have "averages" some have to be high and some have to be low. I'd like to go to the doctor for testosterone treatment but I'd probably get laughed out of the doctor's office. btw... my test levels have continued to drop each year.

Get the test, most insurance covers the blood work 100%. I never thought I was low since I had a major sex drive still. However; I was gaining weight and unmotivated really. Some of my friends (who also have dealt with this and/or are also doctors) started talking to me about this. I do a three shots a week, one IM that sometimes hurts a bit but no more than lactic acid stuff; and two under the skin each week. It really changed me. I am focused, getting slim, my blood work/vitals have MAJORLY improved (I was at 175/100 blood pressure, now below normal). It can be expensive depending on your insurance.

I thought I had low T. It came back in the midrange so perfectly normal. After 4-5 months of tests, MRIs ect it turns out I have growth hormone deficiency. My last test was a glucagon stimulation test(pure hell) which came back low. The doctors office submitted the treatment to the insuance company. I just hope they approve it because doubt I can afford it out of pocket.
If you think something is wrong go see a doctor you know your body and if something is not right.
