    Couscous: Good Carb/Bad Carb?

    need something thats quick and easy for when im dashing out and was wondering how does couscous fair on the good carb bad carb scale please?

    Yes.

    Good source of carbohydrates, whole grain, and an appreciable amount of protein. I used to eat the stuff all the time, 'till I got tired of it and discovered the joy of the sweet potato.

    ahh theres some debate that couscous is broken down into sugars faster than rice or oats... whole grain should be alright though

    It's not whole grain, it's durham semolina, made from whole grain.
