    Pre-Workout Supplements, are they bad

I've been taking juggernaut for two months and have seen great results, however the results are probably from the daily lifting and eating. I saw a thread on here telling teens to stay away from these preworkout things because they should naturally have enough energy to get a good workout in, however when I talked to my doctor and told him I was using it he just treated it like nothing special, like it wasnt a big deal. I take it because i want to take creatine, should I take a creatine product that isnt pre workout and is just creatine? Or are pre workout supplements really not that bad...

    thanks

not at all they help out alot, but if your younge i dont see why you need te energy, but its great for pumps and intensity
Every time you stay out late...
    Every time you sleep in...
Every time you miss a workout...
Every time you don't give 100%...
You make it that much easier for me to beat you...

If you dont need it dont take it. It does give an extra boost though and no one can deny that. If your doing it just for the creatine, its not enough. a serving of most PWOs only has about 1g of creatine. I take my PWO and creatine

They just help provide some mental stimulation, stims, pumps, etc etc. If you can workout without those, then theres no need for a pre-workout. Especially if you only want it for the creatine, you can just go buy creatine mono instead.

Only take it if you need the extra energy and pump, I take it because I get really busy and lack energy during the day when im about to work out.

Don't take PWO for the creatine. Since it probably doesn't contain enough for a recommended dose.

I say add 2-3grams to your day whether in your pwo or a protein shake.

It's only harmful if your overdosing the pwo

Kinda offtopic but why do ppl say young ppl do not need the "energy" from it? I'm 18 and work 8 hours a day for 4-5 times a week on a job that taxes me. I understand if someone just does nothing all day expect lift, that's different.

Not saying I could not make it without my pre supps, but it definitely helps a lot.

Also, buying any PWO just for the sake of creatine in it, that is kinda waste of money.

I use beta-alaninen, creatine, citrulline malate and just a tps of whey in my PWO. It's better than working out without it.

Because they think we sit around doing nothing with our lives.
Obviously their are kids who work, who are anemic, who have other sport practices, other things to do before working out.

NBD though, im going to take my PWO.
