Last training day today aside from maybe a light day depending how I'm feeling this week. Gonna eat and stretch a ton this week and hopefully feel great come Saturday.
7 Days Out:
Paused Bench: Longer than a comp pause I would say
45x12
95x8
135x5
165x3
185x2
205x1
225x1
245x1
255x1 PR
Was reallll grind thank god my spotter listened and let me grind because normally every spotter would touch it as it was like a 10 second rep. I'm like 90% sure it would be passed though as I don't think the bar ever came downwards but not positive. Based on how that felt I think 258 or 264 is still a good goal for third attempt.
Feeling confident right now, hope I can put it all together.Log -> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=153108621

Thanks man.
My main meet goal is a 400+ squat. Going to open at 352 I believe and depending on how that feels I may jump straight to 402 for a second otherwise I'll jump to 385 then 402 for third if it's moving slow.
Bench will probably be 237/253/ then 258/264 for third.
DL probably open at 418 then jump to around 450 then go by feel from there not sure how I'll respond to a DL bar pulling conventional - it definitely felt great when I pulled sumo but never tried it conventional before hoping for a similar boost with it and maybe 475 or so is possible.Log -> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=153108621

I swear your meet feels like it was suppose to be like 3 weeks ago. So much suspense in this log....

Meet went pretty well overall. Had a great time, was cool meeting mitch and cakes so much better having people to lift with at the meets, my first two it was just me there and me and mitch were lifting in all the same flights so made things real convenient.
Went 7/9 with 402/253/457 for a 1112 total. 66 pound meet PR (17 squat, 33 dl, 16 bench). Missed third squat and bench. Bench I completed lift but dipped so almost was there at 264 would have been beyond thrilled with that.
I'll do a write up soon and actually have some video on mitchs camera so can finally see some meet liftsLog -> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=153108621

odds are good someone from the fam will be there. We had me, mitch and cakes there (who is strong as fuk by the way, first meet totaled 1550 worth of all speed work it was amazing) and also jeremy would have been there I think he got injured tho. So we almost had 4 fam members there
for me I've found lifts that feel like total grinders actually move okay sometimes so it's nice having someone there to ask how fast things were, etc. definitely helps a lotLog -> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=153108621

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

Will email you the vids sometime this afternoon. Was alot of fun for sure, was the misload 10 or 11 pounds because of the squat bar? But either way you got your 400 squat so that's awesome.

thanks man
good stuff
not sure, I assumed they were off by 5 kg so 11 pounds? Don't care either way 401 or 402 still wayyyyy better than 391!
they did say ernie jrs. world record went from 766 to 777 I think
thanks man, you always want more but thinking in the grand scheme of things I'm def happy with a 66 pound increase, if I could get close to that every time I'll be in good shape in a few yearsLog -> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=153108621

Man my second squat felt like an eternity it wasn't that slow it turns out - never can tell til you see it on camera. And lol at my third bench attempt how did I manage to get the bar all the way up I dipped like 12 times hahaLog -> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=153108621
