I heard that just doing the incline bench and incline exercises to hit the upper chest creates a better looking chest.
Kind of like Zyzz's chest?
Is that true?/10

True. Think of it this way, where the bar hits your chest is where you are working the most. Incline guillotine is great for upper chest. Decline is great for lower. And flat bench adds mass.
5'10 170lbs, ~8-10% BF, bulking to ~180.

2. Break some rules
3. Don't be afraid to fail
4. Ignore the naysayers
5. Work like hell
6. Give something back.

Don't need to pick up an anatomy textbook.I open up cadavers on a regular basis and have one of the highest grades in the College Anatomy classes at my school;thanks for your suggestion though. Who ever said there were independent structures? Now you are just spewing nonsense to try and fight an argument that was never made.

doing incline bench has an insane number of benefits on aesthetics. Upper chest is what gives you pecs in a shirt. If you only train lower chest with flat bench, and no incline bench for upper chest, what will happen is you'll end up looking like you have teddies (ofc unless you're like lean 5% BF) but doing inclines gives good proportion to one's chest, and is absolutely nescesary in all chest workouts. Alot of people with gynecomastia such as myself could also use incline bench to their advantage. if you're upperchest is well developed, you can't even see gyno through clothing because your upper chest is what shirts will be resting on, rather than resting on your lower chest and showing the ugly a$$ nips. nomsaiyan?

Key word "emphasize".
You can do straight incline work and your entire chest will still develop, not just the minor.. It doesn't matter AT ALL if you activate every single fiber, both the upper/lower will both grow regardless.
However obviously hitting the muscle from different angles will lead to a more overall development.IG: @West_Whey
