Texas A&M is a much better team than Colorodo or Utah. The SEC is a better conference than the Pac 10. Texas A&M currently leads the SEC in total offense. My original question was is A&M good for the SEC. I am certain that they bring in more money to the conference than what Colorado and Utah combined brings to the Pac 10.

I was at the SEC Welcoming part for them n Miss. There are a TON of TAM folks here in Atlanta. It was a great party. I'd say they're holding their own for sure. This was a great move for them.

I agree. and I think the Aggies really needed the SEC for recruitment purposes. There are too many kids leaving the State to play elsewhere. Hell, we will probably be able to 'steal' some kids that were planning on going to tu.

dru, you are probably right. I totally missed his point, but as far as proximity is concerned for A&M, it is about the same as traveling to Iowa or Missouri. We are closer to Louisiana and Arkansas than we were to Kansas and those other States I mentioned that were in the Big 12.

Even with one loss, Alabama would probably be in the national title picture. Notre Dame doesen't belong in the conversation, and Oregon does not have a defense. If Kansas State wins out, I see them playing for a national title.
