This is quite simply the worst whey protein product I have ever tried. I decided to try it because it is less expensive then ON whey, the product I usually use. I have also tried cytosport whey, prolab whey, GNC whey, champion nutrition whey, nitrotech, bsn lean desert/syntha 6, and syntrax. So, I have experience with alot of the popular whey products and this one was by far the worst. I expected a much better product from EAS.
TASTE 2/10
I tried vanilla and it tastes more like hay and feet. I'm not sure why hay but thats just what it reminds me of.
MIXABILITY 1/10
Just not possible to mix with a spoon. Most other products I have tried will mix with a spoon, but not this one. ON casien mixed better with a spoon than this product. It globs up and sticks in massive clumps to the spoon and glass.
EFFECTIVENESS 5/10
This is a tough category to evaluate with a protein powder so all I will say is that it didn't effect my progress one way or another. I would expect EAS to make a quality whey protein complex, however judging by the taste I can't be sure.
OVERALL 3/10
Steer clear of this crap! Spend your money on ON whey. I wrote this review because I have never been more disappointed with a product. There is a certain quality standard in the supplement market now and this product just does not meet it.

I'm running through a bag of the EAS chocolate that I picked up at Sams a few weeks ago (25 bucks for 6 lbs) and I can't say anything bad about it. It tastes amazing with milk and acceptable with water, mixes well in my blender bottle too. I would actually consider buying it again for the price alone, plus IMO the taste isn't really a huge hindrance. It doesn't taste like candy, but its not that bad.

I have used EAS Whey and ON Whey. I prefer EAS by far. Especially the taste. I had heard the talk and reviews of how great ON Whey was/is. I couldn't stand the stuff.

LOL ya I actually love eas and prefer it to all other protiens, especially the vanilla. It tastes good, mixes easy (never mixed protien with a spoon?), and cant beat the price. Having worked at GNC Ive pretty muched tasted every protien powder out there in the past year and have to say this is top 3 or 4. Maybe ya got an old batch?
Thats tits buddday!

The trouble right now is BJ's and Costco's in my area at least, have switched over to carrying only the Vanilla. I love the chocolate and while I can defintily stomach the vanilla, my rule is always Chocolate over Vanilla. I hope the switch back to chocolate b/c the 6lb bag is still the best deal around!

Eat that **** for breakfast lunch and dinner .
I've been through a lot of choc and vanilla, both taste great and mix great for me. Obviously taste is subjective, but it mixes better than most protein out there."The mind is the limit. I've personally never found a problem with the taste of either Vanilla or Chocolate EAS lol. I do prefer chocolate in most brands but the vanilla isn't terrible tasting. Its about as cheap of a price for protein as you will find anywhere if you are strapped for cash.

I went through the 6lb bag from Sam's. It was the protein blend. I don't like the fact that they sweeten it with Aspartame as I try to avoid it if at all possible. I won't buy it again because of that.
The powder itself mixed fantastic with a spoon in water and milk. I bought the chocolate which is always my default flavor. Compared to ON whey it's about the same taste wise... I just throw the crap down my throat anyway.

The stuff really is garbage. Horrible mixability, taste, and digestion--all of the criteria by which a whey protein product should be judged.
Look at Iron-Tek (Essential Natural Protein) or NOW's whey protein. Leaps and bounds ahead in all regards; not to mention bearing the cGMP emblem.SAN Nutrition
