I am 110lbs and sometimes take in 150-175g of protein. Is this too much?
My calories are 2000-2100, fat is 50-70g, and carbs are 200-260g.
Thank you!

You aren't 110 lbs, so different story.
You don't HAVE to have that much protein, OP. Eating 1 to 1.5 g per lb bodyweight is considered to be more than enough. If you WANT to eat that much protein, that's all on you. What your body doesn't need will hit the toilet anway, though it might be easier on the wallet to eat less lol. My only concern would be if you are shorting yourself on important micronutrients in the plant/fruit (carb) area in allotting so many of your cals to protein, but that's a food choice/health issue."A champion is someone who gets up even when he can't" ---Jack Dempsey

Yes, it was a little different, I was about 140 when I started that meal plan and my total cals in were about 2500. That was why I said "about"
And if Charles Poliquin can recommend "High protein (1.5-2 grams of animal protein per pound of bodyweight)" I don't see it as so bad. But that's probably just littl' old me and Poliquin who might not know jack about what he's talking about. haha

the max recommendation is actually 1.8-2 grams per KG, which turns out to be ~1 gram / pound or so. if you went by lean mass (which us ladies don't have that much of ) the op @ 110lbs total weight is doubly taking in what the body requires.
nothing terribly wrong with it, of course, but a costly way to fuel yourself as the extra will be used for energy."The human race is still largely a group of monkeys with slightly better grooming habits. Give them a microscope and and they'll examine their own ****, give them a telescope and they'll go looking for tits."

I was wondering though how much protein can your body absorb in one sitting? I take 48g in my post workout shake. I hope im not wasting any of it.

Im around 128lb and currently aiming for 200g per day, with 70g fat and 100g carbs. I eat as much protein as possible but find it hard some days to get the 200g so have been increasing the other macros for time to time. I don't think its too much, apparently your body only absorbs 70% of calories from protein anyway.
