It depends. I do one time per week. Others do 2.

As long as there is enough recovery time in between workouts, I think you fine.

If you hit Chest Monday then want to again at the end of the week, I don't see a problem.

Depends on the program. Once or twice a week are both fine generally.

What does your split look like? (Curious)

I generally work out chest once a week (4 exercises, 3 sets each).

I train train chest once every 9 days and do 3 or 4 work sets (1 for benchpress, 2-3 of dumbell presses). But I also do dips with military presses on a differant day and work up to one set of five reps. I do that once every 9 days too

Sheesh brah I just wanted to know what bodypart you trained on each day lol

Why don't you have a workout on Saturday or Sunday and put a rest day on a weekday?

I personally think you should stick to chest once a week, but add another exercise, or just hit the harder in general.

Edit - And moar leg exercises!

    Monday: Chest/Biceps
    Flat BB Bench - 3x 8-12
    Incline BB Bench - 3x 8-12
    Dumbbell Flyes - 3x 8-12
(Da hell I just realized I only had 3 chest exercises)
    Blah blah bicep exercises here

    Tuesday: Legs

    Wednesday: Off

Thursday: Cardio-ish day, pushups/situps/pullsups/chinups (More of a fun day for me, and the only day where my abs get worked directly)

    Friday: Shoulders/Triceps

    Saturday: Cardio

    Sunday: Back

not fully, ive been just researching and finding out more people like push ups for chest (i never do push up, so dedicated a full day for body weight exercises could be beneficial)

i dont try to avoid it, i just seem to get all my workouts done during the week, so i eat all weekend (daytime)

its just how it works out

Yeah I've only done this for about 2-3 weeks so far. I tend to switch my routine a lot.

99% of the time I only do chest once a week but if my schedule gets messed up for whatever reason I can end up doing chest on a Monday and again on Friday. But I only aim for once a week, twice a week is a rare occasion.
