    Supplement Industry Statistics

Hi all! I'm currently doing some research for a marketing assignment on the sports nutrition/supplements industry.

Just wondering whether any of you may have come across any info?

Pretty much looking for some sort of analysis on the size of the industry in terms of annual revenue...

Thanks for your help in advance!

Thats a vague question...When you say largest, do you mean in terms of most retail locations, most employees, highest quantity (units) of products sold, or largest profit margin?
I'm just here for the gangbang.

To clarify, I'd be looking at sales and/or locations.

    Thanks!

    The largest is still GNC

Vitamin Shoppe is growing but GNC still has the largest market share. GNC has has over 2,000 locations between corporate and franchise locations. Annual gross sales are right at one billion. (I worked there for over 8 years on the corporate side.)
