Stronglifts 5X5 routine, how long does your workout take?

I am interested in knowing the time it takes to do a complete workout from warmups to finishing the last rep on SL 5X5. I know it depends on the individual, but can you give me a rough idea on what it takes an average dude to complete. I'm guessing an hour, maybe 1-1/2 hours the most?

I ask because I'm a super busy guy looking for a routine that can get me busting my butt and out of the gym as quick as possible. I so far like what folks are saying on the time spent on All Pro's, they are killing it in a bit over an hour, I like that! I want to compare the average workout time on SL 5X5 to AP's routine.

Thanks you for your answers in advance!

That's perfectly fine, especially once he gets up to heavier sets. You rest until you are ready to go for the next sets.

The answer is all about rest times. at lighter weights you can easily get away with sixty seconds between sets and be done around a half an hour. Once the weight begins to get heavy
and your rests become longer the time starts to go way up.

squats take me 30minutes, including warm up
can usually knock off the other two exercises (bench/row, press/dead) in about 30-40minutes total, then usually about 15 minutes to do the remaining stuff (dips, abs etc)

I usually rest about 3 minutes on squats, 5 minutes on deadlift and 2 minutes on bench/row/press. the ancilliary stuff about 30-60 seconds.
