difference between Yohimbe Extract and Yohimbe HCL?

does anyone know the difference between the two? i started supplementing w/ primaforce yohimbine which contains HCL. i also recently received a sample of MT's hydroxycut hardcore elite, and i had a question about it. i notice it has 28mg Yohimbe Extract per capsule. is the extract a lot less potent than the HCL? i ask this because the dosing for my primaforce yohimbine is 5mg at the max dose of 2 caps. can anyone shine some light on this?

Yohimbe is the bark which yohimbine hcl is extracted from. Yohimbine hcl is what you should look for as extracts can vary and they don't always list the percent. A dosing scheme for yohimbine hcl is 0.02mg/kg bw

when they say extract they never say what specific extract they use. remember all herbs have thousands of components (extracts).
i like them to tell me the exact extract so i can research it

The HCL is what you want. Dosing goes by bodyweight. Here is a good read on it.

Don't even bother. Yohimbine hcl is already metabolized into some of the other beneficial constituents. Plus, there are far too many toxic alkaloids in that plant
