    Rehband knee sleeves sizing (blue)

38 cm at mid patella. Need some suggestions on sizing. Large is 36-39 cm. XL is 39-42 cm. Medium is 33-36 cm.

Seen some threads where getting a size smaller than your measurement is the way to go for a tighter fit. Don't want too much compression on my quads though.

    Thoughts and recommendations?

    Will rep for good advice.

Get the mediums. Your quads will be fine. I measure at 39 and got mediums and they are perfect

They are shaped like this \ /

    mediums

I measured on the low end of large and got mediums and am glad

larges would had been too loose

not uncomfortable tight - wish they were a hair tighter sometimes

I like to wear mine a bit higher and I have some sizeable lower quads. I was in your same position and went with larges and they are pretty tight where I wear them. If you like to where them lower probably go with the mediums

Thanks for the input. I have some considerable size/mass on my quads and a smaller knee cap, so that's why I was thinking large. I will get some more feedback, so please feel free to post thoughts in here. Reps for all those who responded.

    Exactly how to do this:

Measure your knee circumference in cm
    Cancel your rehband order
Use the SBD sleeve sizing chart
Order 2 sizes smaller than that says.

The are right on the cusp for all of the legal measurements (in USAPL/IPF anyway). The are a lot longer and are tapered for right and left legs. The distributer was at worlds this year just handing free pairs out to lifters to try. I just threw mine on for the first time yesterday and it felt like I had my Gripper knee wraps on.

Sizing chart has a regular and tight fit.
2 sizes down from regular fit?

Trust me get a size smaller. When the sleeves get seasoned, it will lose a bit of tightness

Thanks. From what I have seen, the rehbands don't stretch as much d/t them being made out of neoprene.

I measured out at a 2x for a tight fit... so I got the larges.

If you can find my thread on this exact question from a couple of months ago.

Long story short, I measured at 39 and went with the smalls. I don't regret it one bit. There were a couple of others that replied that did the same and were happy as well. They are not overly tight and after a couple of months using them they are just as snug as when I bought them.

Got the SBDs and absolutely love them. Got the competition fit a size smaller than suggested on the site. Never used the rehands, but both rehbands and SBDs have been receiving fantastic reviews.

Just to be clear, 2 down from regular fit and 1 down from comp fit?
    Thanks

Mediums or even smalls. I have 16.5'' knees and wish I got smalls instead of mediums. I also wish I got SBD instead. I have to adjust mine on the last few sets of every session.

SBDs are the best, but the most expensive as well. They're longer than the Rehbands (30cm vs 27cm) and they offer more sizes so that you can get whatever fit you want. If you're going for a competition fit, you'll want to get two sizes down. Don't expect this to be fun to get on at all. I don't think it is practical for daily training because they stretch out. For a competition/training hybrid, one size down works well. Or you could get two sizes down and stretch them out, I guess. Personally, I use a different sleeve (Rehbands) for training than I do for competition (SBD). Most people won't go to these lengths, but I already had Rehbands when the SBDs came out so I didn't have to absorb the cost of both at the same time.
