you dont even know how worried I am lol. last year during irene I lost 6 pints, a pack of ice cream sandwiches and like 75$ worth of real food(chicen veggies, eggs, milk, etc). Im going to freeze ike 5 gallon ziplocks filled with water to act as ice packs which will hopefully keep the freezer acting like a cooler for atleast 12 hours if the power does go out. Pro-tip. If/when the power goes out, DO NOT open the freezer or fridge. the things in there can stay cool for hours if you don't.

My house always loses power during these storms and I'm sitting on 30 pints right now. Prob $150 worth of frozen milk. I keep telling myself the storms gonna miss us, sort of like wishful thinking. My neighbor always has power when we lose ours so I'm hoping he will rent me some freezer space if it comes down to it. Wondering if I should put the freezer on its max setting for now.

You fellas that are in the path of the storm should go and get a block of dry ice from the nearest store that has it. Put that in your freezer and make sure you only open it if you have too. Should help keep all your pints and frozen meat good until you get power restore. You could even buy extra dry ice and put it in a cooler with your frozen goods.

Oh wow, I can't believe I just found this topic... (I'm lying, just need a reason to post here)
I actually eat almost a pint of Ben and Jerry's every night sorta.
I had Cannoli last weekend. I got it from the Kroger on Bardstown road, but haven't seen it since. It was... interesting. A very sugar-buttery taste, with chocolate shells. Think like, chocolate covered waffle cones for the flavour. I just had a Cannoli today at Buca Di Beppo's and, looking back at the B&J flavour representation, it really didn't taste like a Cannoli but, it was still good.
You might want to look into Krogers, or Whole Food Market's for it though. I think Ben & Jerry's have a locator for finding it now I believe.
I need your help with something though guys.
I really want to try Volun-Tiramasu but, I'm not sure where I would even look for it. Is it an exclusive flavour?
I had What-a-Cluster last Friday and the was just amazing, by the way.
Edit-
I have a Chocolate Therapy in the Freezer for tomorrow, and I'm hoping I can find Talenti's Sea Salt Caramel at my Whole Foods after work.
I've heard amazing things about SSC Talenti, but all I managed to try was Mediterranean Mint, I believe. It was odd, really odd. It was so light, and refreshing, but it was heavy on the stomach more then ice cream which, struck me as interesting.+++ Positive Crew +++

Had chocolate nougat crunch over the weekend. Liked it a lot! It was really sweet, mixins were plentiful and crunchy and nougat swirl tasty and everywhere. A solid 8,5/10 in my book. I was surprised to like it that much as I remember seeing a lot of not so good reviews on here.
Sadly, my local scoopshop is closing for the winter. I'll have to "survive" with only 7-8 flavors available until spring. I did pick up the last 4 pints of the banana peanut butter froyo to help me last that long. I f*****g love it, it's like crack.
