    Should I deadlift more than I can squat?

    I deadlift 510 and squat only 380. Is this a problem or normal?

    It was normal in your other thread, but in this one it's a problem. Kidding by the way.

    Its a problem, because it means you probably squat to proper depth. Everyone knows you should overload the bar, unhinge your hips slightly, move the bar up and down roughly 4 inches, than rack it as loud as you can.

    It's very uncommon for someone to squat more than they can deadlift. In most cases of this, it's because they only do partial squats and call it a squat. Where as with deadlifts you can't really cheat aside from screwing your back up with horrible form, you still lifted the dead weight from the ground into lock out position.
    -Only one thing in existence has the power to tell you that you can't. That thing is the mind. For it is the mind that manifests our reality, and nothing else.

    Generally you move heavier weights with Deadlifts. Though certain people do better on certain compounds or they don't have the form down.

    Squat = 2 x bw

    Deadlift = 2 1/2 x bw
    So you're all good. Good lifts btw!
