I use to weigh 83kgs (183 lbs) and then lost 11kg to get to 72kg (159lb) over a 6 month period using a low carb clean diet and going on the cross trainer for 1 hour 4 or 5 times a week (in the morning on an empty stomach).
I still wanted to lose more fat but noticed my muscles were getting smaller. Therefore I decided to start a hardcore weights programme to build my body. Have been doing weights 4 or 5 times a week for 2 months now with a high protein, moderate carb diet and now weigh 75kg (165lbs). Whilst I can definitely notice an increase in muscle mass I am still disapointed with my fat levels especially around my face. Even at 72kgs I felt I looked a bit podgy but at 75kgs I now want to go back into a calorie deficit diet which will no doubt affect my muscle gaining ambitions.
I frequently see people on here looking to get to 230lbs etc and want to know what on average a decently built chap at 5 feet 7 inches would weigh?
I am now going to go easy on the calories for a bit whilst continue training to see if I can get my fat level down whilst maintaining muscle. My body doesnt not have much fat only my face. However, at the same time I want to know what goal weight I should roughly be aiming to get to when I can control the fat levels. The sort of muscular build I am looking at is one like Jean Claude Van Damme back in his prime days. I dont want to look like Arnold or other bodybuilders as I think they are too big.
Anyone got an answer to my question or any tips for my situation?
I sometimes think it could be a genetic thing but I dont want a fat face if that is was bodybuilding will give me. The problem I have is that my bodyfat is fine.

Max at 5"7 155lbs, at 155lbs you will still see some fat, at around 145lbs you can look lean and ripped, with good enough muscle. Go look at some ufc at the light weight division that are 5"7 they are usually packed with muscle and not over 155lbs. If you go down a weight class you can see other fighter fighting at around 145lbs are extremely ripped for example jose aldo, you can google him.
Do cardio, around 4 times a week, 30 mins each session, keep your dieting going and you will shed some pounds.
