Broke into a pint of Peanut Butter World last night. Can't believe I waited so long to try it. Blows Peanut Butter Cup away. Almost as good as Talenti's Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup.

I've always been a fan of Häagen-Dazs' vanilla bean. A smooth and rich base that never seems to suffer the fate of freezer burn. It stays just as creamy from the very first scoop to the last. The plentiful sweet espresso swirl exudes an aromatic caffè scent, however the taste is relatively artificial so to speak. As with any coffee flavored ice cream, it's a hard sell, but indiscriminate coffee lovers and frappé drinkers should give it a shot. Coffee snobs who drink it black should probably pass.
8/10. I may consider picking up one more before it's out of rotation.

Oatmeal Cookie Chunk
After hearing several reviews, I decided that it was time for me to try this flavor. The problem was that this thing was harder to get a hold of then the Holy Grail. (No blasphemy, father)
After literally searching for months, I found a fellow brah right here on the misc who would be willing to ship me a few pints, because at the time, IceCreamSource didn't have any left to send, nor did they know if they were going to get anymore.
After a few weeks, and with a plan of action to pay for everything this brah was going to do to send it to me, I called IceCreamSource and was given a tip to wait out, up until this past Wednesday. Well, I did. Low and behold that Tuesday, they had arrived. And now following my last flavor I wanted... My pint-a-day, must now go away. I'll still have and review, just not every day.
Lid comes off as my anticipation rises. I've spent months, and alot of money for this flavor, will it live up to the hype?
Off white yellow'ish tint with what looks like Oatmeal Cookies, and Fudge Chunks. So far so good...
I take my first bite...
Ohhhh yes, victory is sweet. Totally worth the wait, and just in perfect time too. It tastes like an Oatmeal Christmas Cookie. Add that with the dark chocolate fudge chunks, and it has a very Christmas'y taste to it. It wouldn't feel right to eat this on Halloween, for instance.
.... Half a pint later...
I'd say I like it. =)
All and all was it worth the time, and money?
Yes. To experience, savor, and enjoy this, it was worth every penny, and every minute. Plus, I still have 2 more pints left of it! Will enjoy 2 more times... Awesome flavor to final experience, and savor.
God bless guys.
Also Episode95, if you decide to go that route through IceCreamSource, ask for Brad, tell him Marcus from Kentucky sent you
, you'll be taken care of.+++ Positive Crew +++

Anyone who wants to resurrect Mission To Marzipan from B&J's...
GO HERE AND VOTE! http://www.benjerry.com/contact-us/resurrect (Choose Mission To Marzipan!)
What is Mission To Marzipan? A truly unique flavor, especially for the holidays!
Silky sweet cream ice cream with moist, soft and chewy almond cookies and a luxurious swirl of marzipan.
You can also go to the official Ben & Jerry ******** page and post your request, or find the post by me (Zachary M)
and like it, and comment on it as well! http://www.********.com/benjerry
Lastly, Mission to Marzipan has an unofficial ******** page. If you like that and comment on it, then that's even better.
Let's keep it rolling, let's see if we can truly get it back! http://www.********.com/pages/Ben-an...ref=ts&fref=ts
I won't constantly spam this, but I'll keep pushing it as much as I can without taking up too much space. But there are plenty
of PB flavors, chocolate flavors, vanilla flavors, caramel flavors, etc etc. No almond/marzipan flavors however! Let's change that!
Get in on this and vote! Reps for anyone who votes, just let me know you did and I'll get you back.
And again, thank igglesphan for these last two pictures:
And check out this in depth review of the flavor, it's really cool: http://grubgrade.com/reviews/review-...om-ben-jerrys/
"The taste of the swirl – by far the best part of the mix - is both nutty and sweet, with the latter element
hitting you after the initial burst of concentrated almond flavor. It reminds me of an authentic Biscotti in taste...
[the almond cookies] provide the richness and satisfying chew of an Italian version of Cookies and Cream...[they are]
actually incredibly reserved in almond flavor when compared to the swirl, and almost strike me more as an oatmeal cookie...
The ice cream itself has a creamy texture that’s both rich and smooth without being overly sweet...that does well to
allow the Marzipan Swirl to shine."

Man, I hope so. It would suck for it to have been a letdown for you after that epic quest to actually get it. Strong urge to re-scoop soon, but I'm trying to keep my resolve to try out a new flavor. Gotta figure out if there are any untested winners worth stocking up on.
Since Dublin Mudslide was just mentioned...Someone in the old thread mentioned that he really enjoyed it even though he hates coffee. For those who have tried, I am not a huge coffee guy (I drink coffee, but it's more for the caffeine than anything else), so I'd welcome some opinions on whether or not you think I might enjoy it anyway.
That spoon shot gets me every tiiiiiime. Guys, help us out. Even if you don't have a previous experience with this flavor or don't think the description is particularly appealing, lend us some support."Mediocrity knows nothing higher than itself, but talent instantly recognizes genius."

3.5 servings, yeah?
I could never get into HD, I don't know why man... I guess I just can't find the right flavor. Or maybe it's more psychological then anything, not sure what... If you could recommend me 1 flavor bro, what would it be?Last edited by Karas893; 11-30-2012 at 08:12 AM.

Can't blame you for that. If I was still making bi-annual trips to the PA area, I'd bring you some myself.
Respect. Coming from a family where addictive personality traits are very prevalent (and alcohol has proven especially problematic), I understand entirely. I have a couple of friends and family members who would do well to follow your example. I've never been a huge drinker myself, but I feel like part of that is due to me drinking so infrequently and in such small amounts that the habit has not really had a chance to take hold.
Some of them have been canned because of cost/availability of ingredients. Some are canned because they are "limited batch" and don't meet whatever sales standards are out there for it to become a regular flavor, and some normal flavors have been junked for poor sales as well."Mediocrity knows nothing higher than itself, but talent instantly recognizes genius."

I don't like oatmeal anything, but when I first tried OCC it was love at first taste. I still have it as my number one. But like many here, I wouldn't justify spending that much for a few pints of ice cream. My suggestion to people with a limited selection is to always plan on buying ice cream when traveling out of town. I get my OCC and DMS flavors from Dallas whenever I travel down there for business or just on a whim. You can always come up with an excuse to travel far and pick up some ice cream along the way I mean, you spend as much on gas as you would on shipping with the added benefit of a fun trip, right?

This thread is killing it so far. Keep it up guys!
Private Selection's seasonal offering, Carrot Cake, ends up being the best of the bunch. You should probably get some before it's gone.

Oh, man. Thanks for this one. Spotted this a couple of weeks back at a an obscure Kroger, but the ones by me have only just started carrying it. I love carrot cake, and I was pretty pissed when I missed out on the BnJ's version. I was a bit hesitant here because Carrot Cake is tough to pull off in ice cream, but after this review I'm sold.
Would rep, but on spread."Mediocrity knows nothing higher than itself, but talent instantly recognizes genius."

Thanks Chad, I missed out on Ben and Jerry's Carrot Cake so now I have a reason to try Private Selection.
Pray for me that I don't eat the whole carton.
Also to anyone, as I said before I just couldn't get into Haagen dazs ice cream. Can anyone recommend a good flavor, preferably your favorite, that you think might make me a fan?+++ Positive Crew +++
