this is a hard one because the claws of the wolverine could easily blind a pitbull and im sure when its on its back it will be clawing and swatting its ass off and even though the dog can fight with 1 eye it will be pretty hard but idk, if they both had a good running start and it started off with a wrestle for body position the pitbull would most likely come off victorious. Look at the wolverine vs 2 wolfs video the wolf comes running at it and jumps over it but the wolverine flipped on its back kicking and snapping its not a fighter just like in the wolf vs pitbull thread, it all depends on circumstance and unless you put a carcass in the room and the wolverine hasent eaten in days and needs the food to survive it will lay on its back and submit after a few minutes of fighting.

I dont know anything about many animals besides the pitbull but i do know about animal survival instincts and tactics and submission is one that normally keeps a animal alive besides running away

Yeah, if the pit bull can keep the wolverine from going to its back it's a matter of time before the wolverine dies. If the wolverine flips over before the pit bull gets a good hold I think it'll gut the dog.

lol this is crazy, first time in months that i have had over 30 posts in a day on this forum lol, the pitbull vs wolf and this thread and in the past was how to survive a pitbull attack thread and something else like that

and yea, its not its mouth that would kill the pitbull its those damn claws it could get a random slice to the underbelly of the dog and that could be it, same goes for if the dog grabs the wolverines neck it could be over then for the the wolverine

Wolverines are insanely ferocious, even compared to a vicious pitbull, and I think a trained pit would own a wolf.

Oh come on. The wolf thing was a toss-up, but a wolverine is not even a fight. Wolverines are crazy. They'll take on a freaking grizzly bear. They've been known to kill moose and reindeer. This isn't even a fight. Pit bull gets destroyed.

u cant say a wolverine will win just because of that bs u just said lol. Put a gamebred pitbull in a closed room with a moose or reindeer and it will also kill it. Pitbulls also have been used to fight Bears in the past along with bulls, and many other bigger animals they did not allways come out victorious just like a wolverine. There have been reports of sending pitbulls out to fight lions now of course the pitbulls never won LOL but it shows that they will take on any opponent, if u put a gamebred dog in a room with a elephant it would most likely get smashed BUT im sure it would not back down.

A pit bull is a boxer. Strong, tough, methodical, intelligent, has heart
A wolf, bear, wolverine, etc are like brawlers or thugs. Strong, somewhat tough, but they lack heart and intelligence in a fight.

In general, a pit bull is going to do more damage and resist getting hurt a higher % of the time compared to a wild animal. It's simply because of how they were bred over centuries.

No. This is in the wild. Wild animals that have always been wild. Not some caged bear that was released and attacked by a wild wolverine.

no im talking about the polar bear incident some one talked about saying a wolverine killed it cuz it was in the wrong exhibit but mybad thought that was what u were referring to. But in the wild its mainly who is hungry or needs the food the most to determine who wins those fights because who feels they dont need it that bad will loose, 2 wolf clans all starving for food during the winter and meet at 1 place where there is a carcass of a deer or something of the sort best believe there will be a big ass war and maybe a wolf or two from each pack dies but most of the time in the wild in 1v1 "fights" there arent deaths just injuries no matter what animal it is(besides like birds of prey and stuff like that).

hell even two silverback gorillas fight there isent a death and we all know those things are alpha as **** lol

yes thats why this could never be truley decided unless gamebred pitbulls were some how wild animals LOL. If u put them in a room and the wild animal is starving and its a carcass it will be fighting because it wants to eat but the dog will be fighting cuz it wants to fight, If the animal was in a room it can not escape it will be fighting on instinct and the majority of the animals that u can try to match vs a pitbull in a closed area/room it would be its first fight to the death and will be fighting off of instinct trying to survive and i dont think a amateur boxer has much of a chance against a professional but that all depends on the individuals because im sure some where out there in the wild theres a bad ass animal of each class who loves to do nothing more then fight and proove how strong it is.

Hell, they were used to take down boars (300+lbs), tire out bulls (2,000lbs), and they also used to be used in fights against bears and lions. They would send 1 dog in at a time until the animal was killed.

Wild animals are meant to survive, but that doesn't mean they can't fight. They avoid it if at all possible, but that does not mean they aren't capable of it. A wolverine is every bit as strong, if not a whole lot stronger, than a pit bull. And toughness? Haha. I'm not going to go there. And you and me both know you nor I have any idea of the heart and intelligence of a wolverine.

are u talking about a pitbull or the wolverine because the majority of the gamebred pitbulls weigh no more then 60pounds most were like 35-50 i think so im sure there are a ****load of animals it would fight that weighs that much more then it.

in order for a wolverine to really fight a pitbull to the death it would have to be starving and need the carcass that is placed in the middle of the floor in a closed area but if its fighting for food wouldnt that give it a extra edge on the dog? what if the wolverines claws were clipped at the end so that it wont be like getting into a fist fight with freddy krueger then how would the wolverine have a chance?

yea there used to be a video of that happening in i think russia or some place where theres like a coliseum type of place(like rome but of course not as big) but hell maybe im wrong coulda been in mexico LOL i member i seen it on Kazaa a while back(u know that was a long time cuz everyone used to use that p2p file sharer back in the day)
