Your post screams to me that you lack the most basic understanding of nutrition, so I advise you to read the stickies at the top of the page & understand them. Contrary to popular belief, increased meal frequency does not speed up metabolism, and research has suggested it actually increases appetite.

actually OP's post hasnt suggested he lacks understanding of nutrition. Just because he eats six meals a day doesnt mean he eats like a bro. and while in terms of body composition consumption of sugar drinks doesnt matter, sugar drinks/food lead you to crave more food and arent very satiating. his best bet would be to consume more fibrous and filling foods. and finally op has probably done the most sensible thing in terms of controlling his diet which is "portion control". while he may not be measuring out 1g/pound of protein, 0.45/pound of fat and the rest carbs, op has a decent idea of how much to eat to lose weight comfortably by just using common sense

No one said he ate like a bro. I don't know why you quoted me in that response. All I said was that he just needed to figure out his macros and he could eat whatever he wanted. It's not overly complicated. Why eat fish if you don't like fish? And why subscribe to a diet that calls for it when you don't have to?
