My wife and I started watching SOA. Bought season 1 on Blue Ray. Got to disc 2, didn't work. Disc 3 didn't either. Returned and exchanged for another copy of season 1. Same f'ing problem. Borrowed from friend, except it's on DVDs. Works fine. I think something is wrong with my Blue Ray player.
On a brighter note, the show is pretty fucking awesome. We are up to episode 11 of season 1. Will probably finish tonight.I remove my shirt to poop crew

VN was highly polarized, with the polarizations shifting over time. The government hawks and a lot of the general public were aligned in early stages, seeing the hippie movement and non-related left-leaning factions as a threat to America's ethical fabric. The hippies themselves were ineffective (and a much smaller entity than people realize) but their goals shared some commonality w/ other anti-draft student groups. '68's Tet Offensive was the turnaround of general public opinion back here -- that the situation was futile. A few years later, Kent State (and perhaps the My Lai revelations) really hammered home the senselessness. The divisions changed with more of the "anti-Nixon's govt" crowd gaining traction. Though to that end, Nixon eventually sunk himself w/ non-VN stuff. Not sure "we" were ever really all together to do something, other than "we" eventually agreed more and more that the war had gone too long, for too little benefit.
The immediate post-9/11 events, on the other hand, were an instantaneous rush of "America-ness".

This outgoing congress was the Workout Programs section equivalent of the American congresses.
A giant wad of clusterfuckage.
Here's to the 113th being less batshit crazy.

Ron Perlman's character is the best character on the show.
